AI video trends 2026: every viral remake, month by month

The newest AI video trends in mid-October 2026 are one-photo templates: Flying Roadster, whose first AI clip went up on 16 Oct, and the Closed on Sunday Choir and Singing Pet, both first posted on 14 Oct. The biggest remake wave of the month is still Bulin 47: a street freestyle posted on 2 Oct, first recast with AI on 6 Oct, with Google searches peaking on 10 Oct. Below is every AI video trend of 2026 we can date, month by month and newest first, including the ones we don't make. More than 90 trends and templates went live here on 18 Oct 2026, so most rows now lead to a free preview.

AI video trends in October 2026

These eight clip remakes were the first trends on the site, and October 2026 is when their wave peaked: five of them hit their Google search peak between 3 and 10 Oct, and the pet clips spread through the feed with almost no Google search at all. Holding up best: Bulin 47, still at 65% of its 10 Oct search peak on 14 Oct. Turning down: Burning Bridges, Alors on Danse and Rumpelstiltskin, all below half their search peaks on 14 Oct. Past it in search: Raindance and September's Hotel Lobby. Search is one signal, not the verdict: the top remakes of Raindance and Rumpelstiltskin were still gaining plays when we read them on 15 Oct.

  1. Bulin 47↗ Rising ≈380M views · 1 person · 15s The freshest on the list. The freestyle under red lights, with the crowd filming on their phones, went up on 2 Oct 2026. The first widely shared AI swap put a cat in the middle on 6 Oct, and an own-face cut became the one people copy on 8 Oct. Searches peaked on 10 Oct and were still at 65% of the peak on 14 Oct, the strongest hold of any trend in the table below. Just you, in the freestyler's spot. See yourself in it
  2. I Wanna Love You↗ Rising ≈55M views · 1 pet · 10s New this month, for pets. A white cat in a mustard corduroy suit films a night selfie by the tennis courts and sings Akon's 2006 hit. Posted on TikTok on 1 Oct 2026, it had 21.8M plays when we read it on 15 Oct. Recasts with other cats began on 5 Oct, dogs followed from 9 Oct, and a football club joined in on 14 Oct. One pet, the whole animal. See yourself in it
  3. Burning Bridges↗ Rising ≈20M views · 1–2 people · 20s The chandelier party from the May 2026 'Burning Bridges' video, where the man in the centre shades his eyes and scans the room. The first AI side-by-side went up on 5 Oct; searches peaked on 10 Oct and were at 41% of that on 14 Oct, and the biggest remakes grew only 1–4% between 14 and 15 Oct. In beta here: just you, with a friend, or a horror-night version for Halloween. See yourself in it
  4. Alors on Danse↗ Rising ≈14M views · 2 people · 18s Eighteen seconds of a 2010 French TV sketch: one friend concentrates on a tiny keyboard while the other leans into the lens, grinning. The first big AI version went up on 3 Oct 2026 and searches peaked four days later, on 7 Oct; template pages on remake sites followed on 10 Oct. Two of you: the keys and the one who can't stop dancing. See yourself in it
  5. Rumpelstiltskin Dance↗ Rising ≈57M views · 1–2 people · 9s Not a real 1980s film: an AI-made fantasy scene posted on Instagram on 27 Aug 2026. The earliest TikTok edit of its tiptoe dance we found went up on 27 Sep, a real-life remake followed on 3 Oct, and AI recasts took off on 6–7 Oct. Searches peaked on 5 Oct. The top recast went from 5.1M to 5.3M plays in a single day (15 Oct). Play the imp, or bring a friend as the maiden; a good one for Halloween. See yourself in it
  6. Smalltown Boy Cats↗ Rising ≈46M views · 2 pets · 21s Two cats on their hind legs at a red fence, screaming along to Bronski Beat's 1984 song. The AI clip went up on Instagram on 2 Oct 2026 and people soon began swapping in their own pets; one living-room version from 8 Oct had 3.0M plays on 15 Oct, and template pages followed on 13 Oct. Almost nobody looks it up on Google: pet trends travel in the feed. Two pets, whole animals. See yourself in it
  7. Raindance ≈200M views · 2 people · 28s Started late in September, peaked in October. One 28-second moment from the January 2026 'Raindance' video: the pier at golden hour, the look back, the green dress. The earliest AI remake we found went up on 27 Sep and searches peaked on 3 Oct. The biggest remake, posted on 2 Oct, had 50.3M plays on 15 Oct and was still climbing. You and your person, or a friend for laughs. See yourself in it

By 14 Oct searches were down to 6% of that peak, the lowest here, but in views it's still one of the biggest on the list: the top remake (23 Sep) had 6.1M plays on 15 Oct. Stage is the label each trend's own page shows, set by our trends review from new remakes and remake-site listings as well as search, so it can lag the search figures above. Views are estimates across TikTok, Reels and Shorts, with the date we read them.

How this list is made

Every day our radar reads the sitemaps of the AI remake sites to see which trend pages they've added, and checks Google and YouTube autocomplete for what people type. A trend goes on this page once we can date it from a post, an article or search data we've checked ourselves.

Every play count is from a post we opened, with the date we read it. View totals for the trends you can make here are estimates across TikTok, Reels and Shorts, built from the posts we can read (Instagram hides views when you're logged out), and each trend page shows how its estimate was made. Search dates come from Google Trends' daily worldwide data for each trend's name, pulled on 15 Oct 2026 (the zombie and Spooky Scary Skeletons figures are US only, and the zombie ones are from our 16 Oct pull): the peak is the highest day, and 'halved' is the first of three days in a row below half the peak.

Trends on the watch list aren't on the site. Before a trend goes live we compare real remakes to find the exact clip people copy, test it, and a person approves it. We skip photo prompts, trends built on someone else's characters, and clips whose point is a real person's likeness.

Since 18 Oct 2026 the site also makes one-photo templates: new videos built around your photo, for trends with no single clip to recast. They're dated here the same way, from the first posts we could find, and they're all listed on AI video templates, with their own pages for transformations, emotional videos and funny ones.

QUESTIONS

Questions about this year's AI trends

What's the newest AI trend on TikTok?

As of 18 Oct 2026, the newest you can make here is Flying Roadster: its first AI clip went up on 16 Oct, and by 17 Oct its main hashtag held 888 videos, by one template site's count. The Closed on Sunday Choir and Singing Pet started on 14 Oct. Among clip remakes, Unforgettable Car was still rising on 18 Oct: the original had about 3.6M plays, up from 2.7M two days earlier.

What AI trend is everyone doing right now?

By our estimates, Bulin 47 is the biggest remake this month, at about 365M views across TikTok, Reels and Shorts when we read it on 15 Oct 2026, followed by Raindance at about 200M. The two biggest single AI clips of the autumn went live here on 18 Oct: the Gang Gang Dance clip (44.0M plays) and the Single Ladies dachshund (44.4M), both read on 18 Oct.

Which of these can I do with my own face?

Every people trend in the cards at the top. On your own: Bulin 47, Rumpelstiltskin, Gang Gang Dance, Cheba Man, Unforgettable Car, Popstar and Burning Bridges (in beta). With one other person: Hotel Lobby, Raindance, Alors on Danse, Oouuh, or Rumpelstiltskin with a friend as the maiden. Smalltown Boy Cats, I Wanna Love You, Single Ladies Dog and La Calabaza take your pets instead of faces. Your face and hair go in; the body, clothes, moves, camera and the clip's own sound stay. For trends with no single clip, the one-photo AI video templates make a new video around you.

Can I make the trends on the watch list?

Not yet. Press Want it? Ask for it under one and it goes to our daily review, with your email if you'd like to hear when it's live. Some won't come as clip remakes: we don't make photo prompts, clips built on someone else's characters, or stories with no single clip to remake. Since 18 Oct some of those come back as one-photo templates instead, like the Zombie Love Story.

What are the new AI video templates?

One-photo templates for trends with no single clip to recast: the scene and the motion are set, and your photo goes in. More than 90 went live on 18 Oct 2026, from the AI Hug and Muscle Filter to Flying Roadster. They're all on AI video templates, and by type on the transformation, emotional and funny pages.

How long did this year's AI trends last?

Days, in search. Hotel Lobby's searches halved 3 days after their peak, and Raindance's and Rumpelstiltskin's 7 days after theirs. The newer three, Bulin 47, Burning Bridges and Alors on Danse, were still within a week of their peaks on 14 Oct. Across the 23 AI trends we've measured since 2023, the median is 4 days from peak to half, so post within 4–5 days of the first AI remakes. The full dataset is in how long TikTok trends last.

How much does a video cost?

Seeing yourself in the preview costs nothing. A video is 100 credits ($9.90) whether it's you alone, two of you or your pets, clip remake or template, and every video is 1080p. Photo templates are 5 credits a photo. Credits come in packs of 100 for $9.90 or 300 for $24.90, with no subscription needed. You pay only when it's ready, and a failed video is refunded automatically.

How often is this page updated?

A new month goes on top on the 1st, and the month before is closed out with what peaked and what faded. The numbers in the cards and the live table refresh by themselves from each trend's page, and every other number says when we read it. For this week's order, see this week's AI trends.
