What is the Unforgettable Car AI trend?
The Unforgettable car trend, also called the 24 car trend, is a 15-second reveal filmed in a floodlit car park at night. A man in a white headscarf and robe steps up to the camera, talks into it, then holds two red number cards, a 2 and a 4, right up to the lens. He flicks them at the camera, his hand swipes across it, and when the frame clears a grey sports coupé is parked behind him. He looks back at the car, grabs his head with both hands as if he can't believe it, and walks off, leaving the car alone in shot. The cut is hidden behind the swipe, which is why the car seems to appear out of nowhere.
The clip was posted on TikTok by @y0kun on 2 September 2026 with a one-word caption, "24", over a short cut of French Montana and Swae Lee's "Unforgettable". It had about 3.6 million plays and 719,000 likes when we read it on 18 October. Car owners copied the move with their own cars through late September and early October, and from early October people without a sports car started making it with AI. The AI how-tos paste the link of an existing version into a video app (Kling, PixVerse or a CapCut template), add a photo of a face and a photo of a car, and get the reveal back; the most-watched one pastes an own-face AI version with a yellow sports car (461,000 plays), which itself copies @y0kun's car park and timing. We lined the AI versions set in that car park up against the original second by second, sound included: they start where it starts, raise the cards at about four seconds and end on the car alone at fifteen.

The sound is a short cut of "Unforgettable" by French Montana featuring Swae Lee, a slow, swaying dancehall and hip-hop single from 2017 (Epic, Bad Boy and Coke Boys; produced by Jaegen, 1Mind, C.P Dubb and Mike Will Made It). It peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 2 in the UK and is certified diamond in the US; the video, filmed in Kampala, Uganda, with the dance group Triplets Ghetto Kids, had about 1.97 billion YouTube views on 18 Oct 2026. In the trend nobody acts the song out: the title does the work, and the captions call the car, or the person in the clip, unforgettable. On TikTok the cut doesn't show the song's name: it's listed as an "original sound", @y0kun's on his posts and @supercarvicky's on many of the copies and AI how-tos.
