What is the Car Jump AI trend?

The car jump AI video is a stunt where the joke is the person who ignores it. Someone sits in a black folding camp chair in a golden field, legs crossed, looking straight at the camera. They raise one fist and never turn round, while a big pickup flies over the ridge behind them in slow motion and lands at their back in a cloud of dust. Some sites call it the "unbothered" car stunt, which is the whole gag in one word.

The take most people mean was posted on Instagram by @ya_danilova01 on 26 Sep 2026: about 12 seconds, one continuous shot, from an account Instagram labels an AI-generated profile. It had 95,209 likes and 1,452 comments when we read it on 18 Oct. It isn't the first, though. Hindi tutorials were already teaching AI car-jump edits in December 2025, and a how-to with a different truck in a scrub field went up on YouTube the day before her reel. Since then people have made their own renders rather than copying one clip: a desert instead of a field, whatever car they like in the air, and their own face in the chair. That's why we make it as a fresh scene from your photo instead of editing someone else's video.

Here you add one photo of yourself. You get a free preview still of you in the camp chair in the golden field in about a minute, then the 10-second video in 1080p for 100 credits ($9.90). Your face, hair, facial hair, glasses and clothes come from your photo; the truck is a generic dark pickup with no badge, plates or flag, and it lands behind you, never on you. The video comes with engine, dust and landing sounds and no music, so add your own sound when you post.

Is the Car Jump trend still growing?

About 30M views across Reels, TikTok, Shorts (likely 12M–75M), as of 18 Oct 2026. Estimated from the top posts.

Fading on social, still searched. The tutorial wave peaked 29 Sep–1 Oct 2026 and only six new how-tos went up from 5 Oct. On 18 Oct Google still completes "car jump ai" with "prompt", "video generator" and "video", and "car jump trend" with "trending car jump video prompt". The reel gained 52 likes between 16 and 18 Oct.

How to do the Car Jump trend: by hand or in one click

By hand: put your photo into the scene with an image model, regenerate until the face looks like you, give that still to an image-to-video model with the moves written out, then check the face holds to the last frame.

Here, in one click: add a photo for each person, see a free preview still of you in the scene, then make the 1080p video from it. You pay only when it’s ready.

Photo tips for Car Jump

  • One clear photo of you, waist up or full body, face to the camera and well lit.
  • Wear what you want to be seen in: your clothes from the photo come with you into the chair.
  • Glasses stay if you wear them in the photo. The reel's dark sunglasses aren't added, so take yours off if you'd rather show your eyes.
  • One person in the photo, no hats or hands covering the face.

Who to cast

  • You (the classic)
  • The friend who never panics
  • Your dad, if he's game

Car Jump FAQ

Is there a free Car Jump AI video generator?

You can preview yourself in the Car Jump scene free. The full 1080p video costs 100 credits, charged only when it's ready. Credits come in packs from $9.90 for 100 and work on any trend.

Which app makes the Car Jump AI video?

Creators put their photo into the scene with an image model, then animate it with an image-to-video model. This page does both for you from one photo: a free preview still first, then the video.

How many photos do I need for Car Jump?

One clear, front-facing photo per person (or pet). This template has room for 1. Add up to 3 photos of each for a closer likeness.

What happens to my photos?

They are stored privately, sent to the video model through short-lived links, never used for training, and deleted with your video after 30 days.

What is the car jump AI video?

A short AI clip where you sit calmly in a folding camp chair in a golden field, raise one fist and never look back, while a pickup flies over the ridge behind you and lands at your back. The calm is the joke, which is why it's also called the unbothered car stunt.

Is there a free car jump AI video generator?

The preview is free here: add a photo and see a still of yourself in the chair in about a minute. The 10-second video is 100 credits ($9.90), in 1080p. Several tutorials put "free" in their titles; we haven't checked what those tools charge.

What's the car jump AI prompt, and do I need one?

The prompt shared in the tutorials is a motion-copy instruction: follow a reference clip's camera and movement, keep the face and clothes from your photo, and output a vertical video. Here you don't write a prompt or find a reference clip. You add one photo and the scene is built around you.

How do I make the car jump AI video?

Add one clear photo of yourself on this page. You get a free preview still of you in the camp chair; if you like it, make the video and it arrives as a 10-second vertical clip with engine and landing sounds, ready for Reels, TikTok or Shorts. Add a song in the app when you post.

Can I put my own car in the car jump video?

Not on this one. Every video uses the same generic dark pickup with no badge, plates or flag, so no real car brand ends up in your clip. Some tutorials and other sites add a photo of your own car; we don't.

Will I get sunglasses like in the reel?

Only if you're wearing glasses in your photo. Your face, hair, facial hair and glasses come from your photo, so take your sunglasses off for the photo if you want your eyes to show, or keep them on for the full unbothered look.

What photo works best?

One clear, well-lit photo of you, waist up or full body, facing the camera, with nobody else in it. The scene seats you in the chair, so you don't need a sitting photo, and you keep the clothes you're wearing in it.

Where is the original car jump trending video?

The take most people copy was posted on Instagram by @ya_danilova01 on 26 Sep 2026 (linked above). It isn't the first: Hindi tutorials taught AI car-jump edits in December 2025, and a how-to with a different truck went up on YouTube on 25 Sep 2026, the day before her reel.

Does the truck hit me?

No. It lands on the grass a few metres behind the chair and rolls past in the dust while you stay seated. That near miss is the whole point.

Why 10 seconds?

It's long enough for the build-up, the fist, the slow-motion flight and the landing, which is how people post it: the reel most people credit runs about 12 seconds, its first three of them a slow build-up, and the one close recast of it we found runs 10.

Is the car jump trend over?

Fading on social, still searched: the how-to wave peaked from 29 Sep to 1 Oct 2026 and slowed to a trickle from 5 Oct, but on 18 Oct Google still completes "car jump ai" with "prompt" and "video generator".

Can my cat or dog do the car jump?

Not on this one: the camp chair and the raised fist are made for a person. For your pet, see the AI pet trends.
