What is the Cheba Man AI trend?
The Cheba Man trend is a 16-second phone video of one dancer alone on a low stage at an outdoor night party. He's lit deep red, wearing a striped polo shirt, black wraparound sunglasses and wide trousers, with two strings of festoon bulbs overhead and the whole crowd below holding up their phones. He opens in a T-pose, throws both arms up, then runs through a fast Tecktonik routine: arms wrapped over the head, finger guns, wide sweeps, a hand on the head and a couple of kicks, to Benny Benassi's electro track "Love Is Gonna Save Us". He dances like nobody else is there, which is the whole joke.
The dancer is Sasha Cheba, a Russian creator who posts as @cheba_man and calls himself Cheba Man. He posted the stage clip on TikTok on 24 May 2026; it had about 17.0 million plays and 1.9 million likes when we read it on 18 October. Spinnin' Records reposted it a week later as the guy bringing Tecktonik back. Tecktonik itself is a French club dance from the 2000s, born at the Metropolis club south of Paris, so for a lot of people the clip is pure 2007 nostalgia.
The AI wave came in October. From 4 October people started putting themselves on the same stage with AI video tools, keeping the red light, the festoon lights and the filming crowd, and copying the routine move for move; a Higgsfield version on 9 October passed 490,000 plays. Meanwhile Cheba Man keeps posting the dance on tour, including Paris on 13 Oct (about 1.8M plays on 18 Oct) and the Eiffel Tower on 15 Oct (about 2.2M). On Jump on the Trend you add one photo: we keep the stage, the light, the crowd, the outfit and the timing, and put your face on the dancer. You see a free still preview first, then get the 15-second clip with the sound.
The song and the original
The track is Benny Benassi's "Love Is Gonna Save Us", first released on his 2003 album Hypnotica (as Benny Benassi presents The Biz) and reworked with Artbat in 2025. In the clip it's playing from the party's sound system, so you hear it the way the crowd did: loud, a little blown out, with people cheering over it. Your version keeps that sound.
Is the Cheba Man trend still growing?
About 22M views across TikTok, Instagram (likely 19M–40M), as of 18 Oct 2026. Estimated from the top posts.
Early and slow: when we read it on 18 Oct 2026, the five-month-old original was flat at about 17.0M plays for another day, while Cheba Man's tour clips kept growing (since 17 Oct, Paris went from about 1.7M to 1.8M plays and the Eiffel Tower from about 1.8M to 2.2M). The AI versions that appeared between 4 and 9 October have barely moved (the biggest from about 493K to 496K plays), so the remake wave is still small.
How to do the Cheba Man trend: by hand or in one click
By hand: save the clip, trim it to the part people remake, give it and a photo to a video model that takes a reference image, check every shot for the original person, then put the sound back in an editor.
Here, in one click: add a photo for each person, see a free preview, then make the video. It keeps the clip’s own sound, and you pay only when it’s ready.

Who is Cheba Man?
Sasha Cheba, a Russian dancer and creator who posts as @cheba_man. His red-stage clip from 24 May 2026 is the original; it had about 17.0M plays on TikTok when we read it on 18 Oct 2026. Your version is made with AI from that clip's moves and setting; it isn't made with or endorsed by him.
What's the Cheba Man song?
"Love Is Gonna Save Us" by Benny Benassi, first released on his 2003 album Hypnotica (released as Benny Benassi presents The Biz). In the original it's playing from the party's speakers, and your video keeps that sound.
What is Tecktonik?
An electro dance from the Paris club scene of the 2000s, built almost entirely on fast arm moves: wraps around the head, sharp points, wide sweeps. It started at "Tecktonik Killer" nights at the Metropolis club from 2002 and went mainstream in France in 2007. Cheba Man's clip brought it back in 2026, both for people who danced it the first time and for people too young to remember.
Is this the Tecktonik brothers video?
No. The two brothers dancing in sync is a different clip. This page is Cheba Man's solo routine on the red-lit stage.
Is it the same as Bulin 47?
They look alike at a glance (red light, night party, crowd filming), but Bulin 47 is a freestyle rap filmed up close next to a portable speaker. Cheba Man is a full-length dance routine on a stage under festoon lights, to an electro track.
Do I need to know the dance?
No. You add one photo of your face and the model does the moves, in the original's timing.
Do I keep the striped shirt and sunglasses?
Yes. The outfit, the stage and the crowd stay as they are in the original, and your face goes on the dancer. Take your own sunglasses off for the photo: the clip adds the black wraparounds.
Why 15 seconds?
The original runs 16 seconds. It's one continuous shot, and our video model takes up to 15 seconds of a single shot, so we keep everything from the opening T-pose and stop a second before the end.
What photo works best?
A sharp, front-on photo of your face in good light. The dancer is full length and fairly small in the frame, so a close photo gives the model more to work with than a full-body one. One person only, no heavy filters.
