Trends to do alone, from one selfie
Three viral trends you can do alone right now, with no friends, no crowd and no steps to learn: Bulin 47, a street freestyle under red lights; Rumpelstiltskin, an imp's tiptoe dance in a hay barn; and Burning Bridges, a chandelier party where you shade your eyes and scan the room. Each is a real clip with one lead part. Add one selfie, your face goes on the lead, and you get a free preview in under a minute before you pay anything. Checked on 16 Oct 2026.

Fun trends to do alone, and why each one works solo
All three were spreading on TikTok in October 2026, and each clip is built around one person. Here's what you do in it, and who else is in the frame when you go it alone.
- Bulin 47↗ Rising ≈380M views · 1 person · 15s A one-person show. You take the freestyler's spot in the middle of a street crowd, gesturing over a dembow beat from a portable speaker while everyone around you holds up a phone. By our breakdown of the clip, the lead is on screen for about 90% of its 15 seconds. Doing it for real would take the crowd, the speaker and the red neon; here they come with the clip. The original freestyle had about 8.2M TikTok plays when we read it on 16 Oct 2026. See yourself in it
- Rumpelstiltskin Dance↗ Rising ≈57M views · 1–2 people · 9s The star part, with the audience built in. Pick Just you, as the imp: you creep toward a maiden in a hay barn, press a finger to your lips, flash a wide grin, then dance on tiptoe in the straw, arms out wide. The maiden keeps the face from the original AI film, so nobody has to play her. At about 9 seconds it's the shortest of the three, and the velvet tailcoat, bow tie and pointed shoes come with the part. If a friend wants in later, the same page has a two-person version. See yourself in it
- Burning Bridges↗ Rising ≈20M views · 1–2 people · 20s The party, without the party. You take the centre spot at a dim, chandelier-lit party from the music video for Drake's 'Burning Bridges': a little dance with a silver cup, a hand over your eyes as you look round the room, then a grin and a wave at the camera. The friend just behind you and the other guests stay as they are in the video. It runs 20 seconds, the longest here, and it's in beta: it works, and we're still tuning it. See yourself in it
- Unforgettable Car🔥 Hot ≈15M views · 1 person · 15s Night, a floodlit car park: you hold a red 2 and 4 up to the lens, flick them, your hand swipes past and a grey sports coupé is suddenly parked behind you. The original 15-second clip, the same car, your face. See yourself in it
- Cheba Man ≈22M views · 1 person · 15s A red-lit stage at an outdoor night party, string lights overhead, the whole crowd filming, and you alone up there doing the Tecktonik arms to Benny Benassi. See yourself in it
- Gang Gang Dance ≈47M views · 1 person · 15s A deadpan dancer in a tweed suit and tan brogues takes the floor at a dance battle and freestyles to "Gang Gang": knee pops, loose arms, a lean back to the lights. Same stage, same moves, your face. See yourself in it
- Fashion Editorial 1 person · 3 photos Your selfie restaged as a high-fashion shoot: hard studio light, bold styling and the framing of a magazine cover. See yourself in it
- Cozy Felt Portrait 1 person · 3 photos You, remade in soft needle-felted wool: fuzzy fibres, tiny stitches and warm window light, like a handmade portrait someone spent a week on. See yourself in it
- AI Action Figure 1 person · 3 photos You, shrunk into a boxed collectible action figure: sealed in a clear blister pack on a printed card, with tiny versions of your everyday things in the slots beside you. See yourself in it
- Claymation 1 person · 3 photos You as a lumpy, thumbprinted plasticine puppet on a tiny handmade set, photographed like a single frame from a stop-motion film. See yourself in it
- Miniature World 1 person · 3 photos You, shrunk to the height of a thumb, standing in a tiny hand-built world with glowing windows, sealed inside a glass jar on a desk. See yourself in it
- Travel Scrapbook 1 person · 3 photos A handmade scrapbook page from a trip: three snapshots of you on holiday, taped down with washi tape beside a ticket stub, a pressed flower and a few words in blue ink. See yourself in it
- Chibi Figure 1 person · 3 photos You as a big-head chibi figure: a tiny body, an oversized head with your own face and hair, and a mini version of your outfit, boxed like a collectible on a shop shelf. See yourself in it
- Popstar ≈1.1M views · 1 person · 12s A mansion hallway, a champagne bottle in one hand and security right behind you: you walk at the lens rapping with your arms spread wide, then turn to the glass balcony and look back. The 12-second scene from DJ Khaled and Drake's Popstar video, with your face. See yourself in it
- Long Neck 1 person · 3 photos You as a flat, minimalist cartoon sticker with a comically long neck and a perfectly straight face. See yourself in it
- Tarot Card 1 person · 3 photos Your portrait redrawn as the figure on an original illustrated tarot card, in fine ink and gold on midnight blue, with the card's name along the bottom. See yourself in it
- Arcade Fighter Select 1 person · 3 photos You, redrawn as the newest fighter on a 1990s arcade character-select screen: a hand-painted portrait in a fighting stance, a crackling energy aura, a row of locked silhouettes, with CRT scanlines across the whole screen. See yourself in it
- Anime Dreamscape 1 person · 3 photos You, redrawn as the hero of a hand-painted anime film frame: a wind-swept summer meadow, towering clouds and sunlight pouring through the leaves. See yourself in it
- Superhero Movie Poster 1 person · 3 photos You, top of the bill on a blockbuster superhero poster: a suit designed for you, face uncovered, a dusk city stretched out below and an invented title in metal letters. See yourself in it
- Catrina Makeup 1 person · 3 photos Your own face in elegant Catrina face paint, crowned with roses and marigolds, glowing in front of a candlelit Día de Muertos altar. See yourself in it
- Horror Movie Poster 1 person · 3 photos You, top-billed on the teaser poster for a horror film that doesn't exist: alone in the doorway of a dark house, lamplight at your back, fog on the floor and the title in blood-red letters. See yourself in it
- Into the Eye Zoom 1 person · 5s You look into the lens under a night sky, and the camera dives into your eye, through the iris and out into a swirling galaxy. See yourself in it
- AI Mermaid 1 person · 5s You dive into turquoise water and your legs shimmer into a scaled tail as you swim past coral through shafts of light. See yourself in it
- Oni Mask 1 person · 10s You snap open a paper fan, red smoke curls up behind it, and when it drops your face is a horned red oni mask with glowing eyes, until you tip it up and grin. See yourself in it
- AI Ghost Transformation 1 person · 5s In a moonlit manor hallway the colour drains out of you, you fade into a pale, see-through ghost, and you drift away down the hall trailing mist. See yourself in it
- Halloween Movie Night 1 person · 10s You're curled up on the sofa with popcorn and a blanket, lit by a flickering TV, while a tall dark silhouette slowly rises in the rainy window behind you. See yourself in it
- Lava Monster 1 person · 5s Glowing cracks of molten lava split across your skin until you're a smouldering magma creature, breathing out a cloud of sparks. See yourself in it
- AI Melt 1 person · 5s On a scorching afternoon you soften like a wax candle from the top down, slump into a glossy puddle, then pull yourself back up, grinning. See yourself in it
- Skeleton Dance 1 person · 10s You dance side by side with a glowing neon skeleton under marigold garlands and string lights, step for step, until it spins you and you both strike a pose. See yourself in it
- Voodoo Doll 1 person · 10s Twine and black thread whip round you, your skin turns to stitched burlap with button eyes, and you flop like a rag doll in a candlelit Halloween cellar. See yourself in it
- AI Angel Wings 1 person · 5s A flare of light blooms behind you and two huge white feathered wings burst open from your back above the clouds. See yourself in it
- AI Face Punch 1 person · 5s A big red cartoon boxing glove sinks into your cheek in extreme slow motion; your face ripples like jelly, your hair flies, and you blink back unhurt. See yourself in it
- Clone Army 1 person · 5s You step sideways and leave a copy behind, again and again, until a street full of you (or your pet) strikes the same pose. See yourself in it
- Dinosaur Chase 1 person · 5s You sprint down a mountain trail straight at the camera while a huge roaring T-rex thunders along right behind you. See yourself in it
- Dust Away 1 person · 5s You look down at your hands as they crumble into fine dust, then the rest of you drifts away on the wind until only the empty field is left. See yourself in it
- Gas Station Dance 1 person · 10s On an empty gas station forecourt at sunset you dance loose and happy, throw both arms up at the sky, then grab the camera for a grinning walking selfie. See yourself in it
- Giant Hand Grab 1 person · 5s A huge hand reaches down out of the sky, plucks you off the pavement between its fingers and lifts you clean out of the shot. See yourself in it
- Hydraulic Press 1 person · 5s A huge hydraulic press lowers onto a little toy figurine of you, squashes it flat as a pancake with a creak and a pop, then lifts and you spring right back. See yourself in it
- Liquid Metal 1 person · 5s Mirror-bright liquid chrome rolls up your arms and over your face until you're a gleaming metal statue, then you blink with your own eyes. See yourself in it
- Long Hair 1 person · 5s You run a hand through your hair and it grows and tumbles down past your shoulders to your waist in a couple of seconds, same face, same colour, then you flip it and laugh. See yourself in it
What doing a trend alone means here
The usual way to do a trend alone is to film it yourself: prop up the phone, learn the steps, try it twenty times. These work the other way round. Each one is a clip that already went viral, and the part that's hard to do on your own, the crowd, the barn, the party, is already in it. You don't film anything.
You add one photo of yourself. Your face, hair, facial hair and your own glasses go onto the lead. The body, the outfit, the moves, the camera and the clip's own sound stay as they were. So you don't need to dance, own a velvet tailcoat or find forty strangers with phones.
What it can't do: change the moves, or put your own body and your own room in the video. If that's what you're after, you want a trend you film yourself, and there are a few ideas for that further down.
How fast these solo trends peaked on Google
Google search interest for each trend, worldwide and day by day, from the lifecycle dataset we keep (read 15 Oct 2026). Each one hit its search peak within a week of its first remake, so the window to post while people are still looking is short.
| Trend | First remake | Search peak | Days to peak | Search on 14 Oct 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bulin 47 | 6 Oct 2026: a cat in the freestyler's spot | 10 Oct 2026 | 4 | 65% of the peak |
| Rumpelstiltskin | 3 Oct 2026: a real-life version; AI recasts on 6–7 Oct | 5 Oct 2026 | 2 | Under half the peak since 12 Oct |
| Burning Bridges | 5 Oct 2026: an AI side-by-side with the original | 10 Oct 2026 | 5 | 41% of the peak |
Search terms: "bulin 47", "rumpelstiltskin" and "burning bridges ai". "Rumpelstiltskin" is searched all year for the fairy tale, so its curve is the roughest of the three. This is Google search, not time on TikTok, where a trend can keep going after searches fall.
What the numbers mean if you're going solo
Across the six video remakes we tracked in 2026, Google searches peaked a median of 4.5 days after the first remake. The three on this page peaked 2 to 5 days after theirs; the three made only for two people took 4 to 10. Our guess is that a clip one person can remake alone spreads faster, but six trends is far too few to call that a rule.
Going alone is also the quickest way to post. Nobody else has to send a photo or say yes, so the only waits are the free preview, under a minute, and the video, about 5–10 minutes. Each trend's stage in the table below is read from its own page, so you can see which one is still climbing before you pick.
TikTok trends for one person, side by side
Read from each trend's page when this page loads, so nothing here is older than the trend page itself. Views are our estimates across TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

What you'll see in your solo video
A few things are worth knowing before you add a photo. They come from the clips themselves, not from your selfie.
- Everyone else keeps their face. In a one-person video only the lead changes. The crowd in Bulin 47, the maiden in Rumpelstiltskin and the guests in Burning Bridges stay as they were in the original.
- The outfit comes with the part. The pink mesh shirt, the velvet tailcoat and the black leather jacket are the clip's, not yours. Your photo supplies the face and the hair.
- Bulin 47: from about 8 seconds you're smaller in the frame and partly behind a man filming in the foreground. Short or tied-back hair shows up best in the red light.
- Rumpelstiltskin: the imp grins straight into the lens in a close-up, so a photo of you with a big grin gives it more to go on. The wide shots of the barn are small and far away.
- Burning Bridges: your hand covers your eyes for part of the clip, so the rest of your face carries the likeness. Use a front-facing photo in good light, and look closely at the free preview, since it's still in beta.
- The sound: Bulin 47 keeps the beat and the freestyle, and Burning Bridges keeps the song under the whole clip. Rumpelstiltskin keeps the film's own music; most TikTok remakes add Riff Raff's "Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz" when they post.
How to do a trend alone, start to finish
The first three steps are free, and you can see the preview before you sign in.
- Pick the trend
Tap a card at the top of this page. Where a trend also has a two-person version, its page opens on the one-person version first.
- Add one selfie
One person, facing the camera, in good light, and tap This is me. It has to be you, or an adult who said yes: the service is for over-18s. Your photo stays on this device for the next trend page, so you can try all three without uploading it again.
- See the free preview
A still of you in the scene, in under a minute, up to three per trend. If something's off, type what to fix under it and it's made again from your photo.
- Make the video
100 credits ($9.90), or 150 for HD. It takes about 5–10 minutes and we email you when it's ready. Pay only when it's ready; automatic refund if it fails.
- Post it
Save it and post it as a TikTok, Reel or Short. For the Rumpelstiltskin trend sound, add Riff Raff's track in TikTok as you post.
Solo trends coming up, not on the site yet
Each of these stars one person, and you can't make any of them on Jump on the Trend today (16 Oct 2026). Each page says where the clip came from and lets you ask for it. If one is added, it joins this page by itself.
- Fergie Baby walkA Harlem rapper raps his way out of a park gate toward the camera (26 Sep 2026), with AI copies from October. Rising on TikTok, not widely searched yet.
- Unforgettable car (the 24 car trend)Two cards, a 2 and a 4, flicked at the lens, and a sports car is parked behind you. A real clip from 2 Sep 2026, with AI versions by 9 Oct.
- Car JumpA woman in a camp chair raises a fist, without looking back, as a pickup sails over the ridge behind her. A 12-second AI reel.
Dance trends to do alone, if you'd rather film one
Some solo trends have no single clip to remake, because everyone films their own version. That makes them easy to do alone with a propped-up phone, and it's also why we can't make them here.
- Toc Toc: a one-foot hop and a knock on a door that isn't there, to Patrick Sébastien's 2015 party song. It took off in France in late September 2026, and there's no one original clip that everyone copies.
- Spooky Scary Skeletons: a quick, bouncy October routine to Andrew Gold's 1996 song, back on TikTok every year. Everyone films it in their own room.
- Rumpelstiltskin, for real: one of the first remakes, on 3 Oct 2026, was a real-life version on a playground climbing wall, in a blonde wig. It had 1.9M plays when we read it on 16 Oct 2026. That one takes a costume and some nerve; the AI version takes a selfie.
Questions about doing trends alone
What are some fun trends to do alone?
Three you can star in today (16 Oct 2026): Bulin 47, a freestyle in a street crowd; Rumpelstiltskin, a creepy tiptoe dance in a barn; and Burning Bridges, a party where you're the one looking for someone. Each needs only your selfie, and the preview is free.
What TikTok trends can you do by yourself?
Any trend with one lead part. Every trend on this page is one: you add one photo, your face goes on the lead, and the rest of the clip stays. Dances like Toc Toc can also be filmed alone at home, but then you do the moves yourself.
Are there TikTok trends that aren't dances?
Yes. Of the three here, only Rumpelstiltskin is really a dance. Bulin 47 is a freestyle and Burning Bridges is a gesture at a party: a hand over your eyes, a look round the room, a wave. In all three the moves come from the clip, so you don't perform any of it.
What are easy dance trends to do alone?
Rumpelstiltskin is the easiest here: about 9 seconds, and the tiptoe steps come from the clip, so there's nothing to learn. To dance one yourself, Toc Toc and the Spooky Scary Skeletons routine are short and filmed solo at home (we can't make those two).
What are funny trends to do by yourself?
Rumpelstiltskin is the funny one here: you shush a horrified maiden and grin like a fairy-tale villain. Burning Bridges is the one to post if you're always the friend asking where everyone is. Not on the site yet, the millionaire-in-30-days skit is a one-person joke too, and you can ask for it on its page.
What about fun trends to do with friends?
Rumpelstiltskin and Burning Bridges both have a two-person version on the same page: a friend plays the maiden, or stands just behind you at the party. For clips made for two, see trends to do with friends.
