The Fergie Baby trend the Harlem walk, recast with AI

The Fergie Baby trend is a wave of AI remakes of one TikTok: Fergie Baby, a rapper from Harlem (not the singer Fergie), walks out through a park gate and raps his way down the path toward the camera. He posted it on 26 Sep 2026, AI copies with other people's faces followed in October, and the #fergiebabytrend hashtag started on 14 Oct. On 16 Oct 2026 it's rising on TikTok but not widely searched yet. You can't make it on Jump on the Trend yet. You can ask for it below, or star in one of three similar clips now, with a free preview first.

WHAT IT IS

What is the Fergie Baby trend?

It starts with a 90-second promo clip that Fergie Baby posted on his own TikTok, @fergiebabyyy, on 26 Sep 2026, with a caption telling fans his album was ready. He steps out through the gate of a park ballfield and walks down the path toward the camera, rapping as he goes. When we read it on 16 Oct 2026 it had 475.2K plays, 49.1K likes and about 7K saves.

The trend is what people did with it next. They give the walk to an AI video tool and swap someone else in, usually themselves. App templates make a vertical clip of 12 to 15 seconds from it. It also goes by the Fergie Baby walk and the Fergie Baby AI trend, and tutorial captions call it the Harlem walking trend.

Can you make it here? Not yet (16 Oct 2026), but you can ask for it below. Meanwhile, the three trends here work the way this one would: one selfie, a free preview still in under a minute, and the full video only if you want it.

Want the Fergie Baby trend here?

Tap Ask for it to put his 26 Sep clip on the list we review for new trends, and leave your email if you'd like a note when it's live. Asking doesn't guarantee it. On paper it fits what we make: one clip on the artist's own account, with the camera following him down the path, no film or TV footage, and a trend that uses only a short stretch of it, so our cut would stay well under 30 seconds. We haven't watched the full clip yet: before adding it we'd check the exact cut, including that he's the only person in it and that nobody in the frame is under 18. If it comes to the site, your face, hair and facial hair go onto him; his clothes, the walk, the park, the moving camera and the clip's own sound stay. We have no link to Fergie Baby or his label.

WHO HE IS

Who is Fergie Baby? Not the singer Fergie

Fergie Baby is a rapper from Harlem, New York, signed to the label EMPIRE. Okayplayer's April 2026 profile calls "A Good Day to Be in Harlem" his breakout single and says he wrote it as a Harlem answer to Ice Cube's "It Was a Good Day", minus the violence. FERG, formerly A$AP Ferg, joined him on the remix, whose video FMHipHop covered on 9 Feb 2026. On 10 Apr 2026 he announced a single with Cam'ron, "Harlem River Drive", on his TikTok.

He isn't Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, and the two names collide in search. On 16 Oct 2026 a YouTube search for "fergie baby trend" returned mostly the singer's music videos and news clips, and not one video of the trend, while most of Google's suggestions for "fergie baby" were about him as a rapper and his songs. So if you saw the walk on TikTok and typed his name, this is the trend you were after.

Numbers are as we read them on 16 Oct 2026 unless the row says otherwise. Counts credited to MakeViral, an AI app with a Fergie Baby template, are its own and unofficial: we couldn't open those posts ourselves.

HOW PEOPLE MAKE IT

How to do the Fergie Baby AI trend: what the how-tos show

Going by the posts and pages we read on 16 Oct 2026, people take one of two routes. We haven't tested either one, and we're not ranking them.

What a Fergie Baby video here would keep

We'd start from his real clip, not a lookalike. Each trend on Jump on the Trend is one viral video, and only the face changes. Your face, hair, facial hair and your own glasses come from your selfie; his body, his clothes, the walk, the gate, the path and the camera stay exactly as they are in his clip, with the clip's own sound under it.

It isn't on the site, so there's nothing to make yet. On the trends that are, you get a free preview still in under a minute (up to three per trend), and the full video is 100 credits ($9.90), emailed in about 5 to 10 minutes. You pay only when it's ready.

STAGE

Where the Fergie Baby trend stands on 16 Oct 2026

Rising on TikTok; not widely searched yet (16 Oct 2026). The hashtag is two days old, the how-to we found is still climbing, and AI app sites had pages up for it by 16 Oct.

The signs: the @knoxtrends how-to went from 112.2K plays earlier on 16 Oct to 122K by the evening. His original clip has nearly stopped growing (473.9K views on 15 Oct per MakeViral, 475.2K when we read it on 16 Oct). Our read: the action has moved to the remakes.

Search hasn't caught up. On 16 Oct Google offered no suggestions for "fergie baby trend", "fergie baby ai", "fergie baby walk" or "is the fergie baby trend over", and YouTube showed no trend videos. MakeViral says US Google Trends interest in "fergie baby" doubled in the week to 15 Oct (unofficial; we didn't check it), but that's his name, and the suggestions are still about him as a rapper. Not every TikTok wave reaches Google: of the remake trends we track, the two pet ones barely showed up in search. For the six that did, searches peaked a median of 4.5 days after the first AI remake and, where we could measure it, halved 3 to 7 days later (how long TikTok trends last). Our judgement: the next week decides whether Fergie Baby becomes a search at all.

None of these is Fergie Baby. Each one shares something with it, in bold: a real artist's clip, one person owning the frame, or a strut to a rap beat.

QUESTIONS

Questions people ask

What is the Fergie Baby trend?

AI remakes of a TikTok that Harlem rapper Fergie Baby posted on 26 Sep 2026, in which he walks out of a park gate and raps his way down the path toward the camera. People swap in their own face or a friend's. It has been rising on TikTok since mid-October 2026.

Who is Fergie Baby the rapper, and who is he signed to?

A rapper from Harlem, New York, signed to EMPIRE. His breakout single was "A Good Day to Be in Harlem", and FERG (formerly A$AP Ferg) joined him on the remix. He isn't Fergie, the singer from the Black Eyed Peas.

How do I do the Fergie Baby AI trend?

Elsewhere, people use a CapCut template or an AI app's Fergie Baby page with one photo, then post the clip on TikTok. It isn't on Jump on the Trend yet: tap Ask for it above. The closest clips you can make here from one selfie are Bulin 47, Burning Bridges and Rumpelstiltskin.

Is the Fergie Baby trend song Good Day to Be in Harlem?

We can't confirm it, and it may not be. "A Good Day to Be in Harlem" is his earlier breakout single, remixed with FERG in early 2026. TikTok lists the 26 Sep clip's sound only as Fergie Baby's original sound, and the post itself promotes his new album. Some tutorial captions still tag the trend "Good Day to be in Harlem".

Can I put my own face in the Fergie Baby walk?

Not here yet. If we add it, your face, hair, facial hair and glasses go onto him, and his clothes, the walk and the park stay. The walk follows one person, so it would be a solo video; for two people, try couple trends or trends with a friend.
