AI dance trends: no dancing needed
You don't have to dance. Pick a viral dance clip, add a selfie, and your face goes onto the dancer who already nailed it, with the same moves, outfit, camera and sound (we don't animate your own body from a photo). Every trend below was still rising on TikTok when we checked on 15 Oct 2026, and each one gives you a free preview of yourself in the scene in under a minute, before you pay anything.

Face swap or motion transfer: what an AI dance trend can mean
Two different tools sit behind "AI dance trend", and they give you different videos.
Motion transfer is what the "AI dance generator" and "make me dance" apps in the search results do. You upload one photo of yourself and the tool makes it move, following a template dance or a text prompt. Your body and clothes come from your photo, the moves come from a template or are generated, and the result is a new clip, not the one that went viral. One photo-to-dance generator page we read on 15 Oct 2026 says it works best with a full-body photo, takes a text prompt and gives a 4 or 8 second clip.
Face swap into the real clip is what we do. The viral video stays as it was: the dancer's body, clothes and every step, the camera, the cuts and the clip's own sound. Only the face changes: your face and hair go in from one ordinary selfie. With pets, your whole animal goes in and does the routine. The moves are the original dancer's, the ones that made the clip go viral, so nobody has to learn a step.
Which one you want depends on the video you're after. If you want the exact clip everyone is remaking, with you in it, face swap gets you there. If you want your own body and outfit dancing, or a dance we don't carry, a motion-transfer app is the right tool, and that isn't us today.
Four dances and a freestyle, and the move you get
Each one is a real viral clip with the moves already in it. Views are our own estimates for each trend; each trend page shows when we read them.
- Rumpelstiltskin Dance↗ Rising ≈57M views · 1–2 people · 9s The tiptoe imp. You creep up on a maiden in a 1980s-style hay barn, shush, grin, then tiptoe through the straw with your arms flung wide. It's the nine seconds every AI remake we compared copies. Go solo, or cast a friend as the maiden. The Bonnie and Clyde remake on TikTok had 5.3M plays when we read it on 15 Oct 2026. See yourself in it
- Alors on Danse↗ Rising ≈14M views · 2 people · 18s The one who can't stop dancing. In a white studio one of you plays a tiny keyboard while the other nods along, then leans right into the lens grinning and bobbing to Stromae. It comes from a 2010 French TV sketch, not the music video. Two photos: the joke is one of you concentrating and one completely gone. See yourself in it
- Smalltown Boy Cats↗ Rising ≈46M views · 2 pets · 21s The cats at the fence. Two pets on their hind legs at a red fence take turns screaming into the camera, then dance side by side to Bronski Beat. The cats' routine copies a human dance video posted on Instagram in August 2026; your two pets take it over. See yourself in it
- La Calabaza🔥 Hot ≈140M views · 3 pets · 14s The kitten trio. Three pets stand up at a dark roadside and dance in step to a guaracha beat chanting "la calabaza" ("the pumpkin"), turn to show their tails, then walk up to the camera. One photo per pet, three spots: the middle one gets the black cowboy hat and the right one the round glasses. The original @meowtakeover clip had 28.9M plays when we read it on 17 Oct 2026. See yourself in it
- Bulin 47↗ Rising ≈380M views · 1 person · 15s The freestyle. Not a dance routine but a performance: you're in the middle under red lights, rapping and gesturing to a dembow beat from a portable speaker while the crowd films you on their phones. Pick it if you'd rather perform than dance. See yourself in it
Which dance to pick: who you need, length and the sound
Three things decide it: how many of you there are, how long you want the video to run, and whether the trend sound is already on it. The price doesn't: every one is 100 credits.
| Trend | Who you need | Length | Sound on your video |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rumpelstiltskin | Just you, or you and a friend | 9 s | The film's own music. Most TikTok remakes add Riff Raff's "Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz" when they post |
| Alors on Danse | Two people | 18 s | "Alors on danse" by Stromae, starting on the keyboard riff |
| Smalltown Boy Cats | Two pets (a cat and a dog works) | 21 s | "Smalltown Boy" by Bronski Beat (1984) |
| La Calabaza | Three pets (any mix of cats and dogs) | 14 s | "LA CALABAZA (TINIEBLA Edit)" by Pumpky |
| Bulin 47 | Just you | 15 s | The dembow beat and the freestyle |
Every video is 100 credits, whether it's just you, two of you or two pets, all in 1080p HD. Packs: 100 credits for $9.90 or 300 for $24.90. No subscription needed, and credits are only spent once your video is ready.
Short, a duo or the whole routine
Want it short? Rumpelstiltskin is nine seconds, and the TikTok edits that started the trend loop its tiptoe steps to the beat. It's also the only one here you can do alone or with a friend.
Doing it with someone? Alors on Danse needs exactly two people, and the second person doesn't have to be in the room: you only need their photo, with their OK. The cats need two pets, one photo each.
Want the whole routine? The cats run the full 21 seconds, because both screams and the dance together are the trend. Bulin 47 gives you 15 seconds in the middle of the crowd.
How to do an AI dance trend here
Five steps, and the first three are free.
- Pick the dance
Tap a card above. Each trend page shows the original clip, who's in it and how long it runs.
- Add a selfie
One clear, front-facing photo per person, or one photo per pet. It doesn't need to be full-body: only your face and hair are used. Your own photo carries over, so you can try another trend without uploading it again.
- See the free preview
In under a minute you get a still of yourself in the scene: in the barn, at the keyboard, at the fence or under the red lights.
- Make the video
If you like it, make the full video: 100 credits, whether it's you, a duo or two pets. It takes about 5–10 minutes and we email you when it's ready. Pay only when it's ready; automatic refund if it fails.
- Post it
Download it and post it as a TikTok, Reel or Short. For Rumpelstiltskin, add the Riff Raff sound in TikTok if you want the trend version.
The photo to use for a dance clip, and who to cast
Some of these shots are wide and the camera moves, so a sharp photo does a lot of the work. These tips come from the four clips on this page; the photo guide covers the rest.
- Clear and front-facing, in good light. In Alors on Danse the faces are medium-small in the two-shot until the lean-in, so a sharp, well-lit photo matters most there.
- No dance clothes needed. The imp's velvet tailcoat, the two cardigans and the pink mesh shirt all stay from the clip. Only your face and hair are yours.
- Grin. The imp grins straight at the camera in close-up, so a photo with a big smile helps.
- Hair: short or tied-back hair reads best under Bulin 47's red light.
- Pets: one animal per photo, face visible and looking at the camera, with the coat colour and markings showing. Two pets with similar coats can blend, so pick photos that show what makes each one different.
- Order matters in a pair. Alors on Danse: photo 1 plays the keyboard, photo 2 leans in. The cats: photo 1 screams first, photo 2 dances at the fence first. Rumpelstiltskin: photo 1 is the imp, photo 2 the maiden.
- Who to cast: the friend who always starts dancing first (Alors on Danse), a friend who'd be horrified to be the maiden (Rumpelstiltskin), the friend who always grabs the aux, or your dad, finally famous (Bulin 47), and your cat and your dog (Smalltown Boy Cats). Only use photos of adults who agreed to it.
- Your photos stay private. They're never used for training and are deleted with your video after 30 days.
The AI baby dance, and why it isn't here
Plenty of people searching "AI dance trend" mean the AI baby dance. We don't make it: Know Your Meme says it's typically made with an AI filter that makes the subject sway to the music, not by putting a face into one viral clip. Here's where it comes from.
- AI Baby Dance (Sway Dance)First seen 14 Dec 2025
Babies and young children at first, then celebrities, pets and other animals, swaying on the beat to "Last Call for Love", a song Know Your Meme says was itself made with AI. The earliest trend video it found went up on TikTok on 14 Dec 2025, and the trend spread in early January 2026.

Three more dance trends going round, and why they aren't here
You can't make these on Jump on the Trend (16 Oct 2026). Each page says where the dance came from, how people make the AI versions and what it would take for us to add it.
- Toc Toc danceHop on one foot and knock on an invisible door to Patrick Sébastien's 2015 song. It took off in France in late September 2026, and you can ask for the most-copied solo cut.
- Spooky Scary Skeletons danceThe October shuffle to Andrew Gold's 1996 song, back on TikTok with AI vampire edits. Nobody is recasting one clip of it, so there's nothing to add yet.
- Storm II (the Storm dance)One person stands dead still while a crowd of pupils erupts around him, from GENER8ION and Yung Lean's STORM film. We're not adding it: it's film footage, and we couldn't confirm the whole crowd is adult.
Questions people ask
Do I need to know the dance?
No. The moves come from the viral clip itself, step for step. You add a photo of your face, and the original dancer's body does the dancing.
Can it use my body, or make my own photo dance?
Not today. We put your face and hair on the dancer; the body, clothes and moves stay from the clip. Animating your own full-body photo is motion transfer, which we don't offer.
Which songs do these dances use?
It depends on the dance. The cats dance to Bronski Beat's "Smalltown Boy", Alors on Danse is Stromae's "Alors on danse", Bulin 47 is a dembow beat with a freestyle on top, and Rumpelstiltskin remakes usually add Riff Raff's "Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz". Your video keeps each clip's own sound, so the song is already on it, apart from Riff Raff's, which you add in TikTok. For the AI baby dance's song and what each trend song is about, see AI trend songs.
Is there a free AI dance video?
The preview is free: a still of you in the scene, in under a minute. The full video is 100 credits whoever is in it, with packs from 100 credits for $9.90. Pay only when it's ready; if it fails, your credits come back automatically.
How long does it take?
The free preview takes under a minute. The full video takes about 5–10 minutes, and we email you when it's ready.
Can my dog do an AI dance trend?
Yes, in Smalltown Boy Cats. It takes two pets, and a cat and a dog works. Your pets go in whole; the dance stays from the clip. More in AI pet trends.
Do you have the AI baby dance?
No. Know Your Meme says it's usually made with an AI filter that makes the subject sway to the song, not by putting a face into one viral clip, and we don't make it. The four trends on this page are the ones you can star in today.
