What is the Into the Eye Zoom AI trend?

Into the Eye Zoom is a 5-second AI video where the camera dives into your eye, fills the screen with your own iris, falls through the pupil and comes out in a swirling galaxy tinted the colour of your eyes. Add one photo, see a free preview still of yourself under a starry night sky in about a minute, then make the video in 1080p for 100 credits ($9.90).

It's one of the camera effects many AI video apps sell. PixVerse lists it as the 'Eye Zoom Challenge' among its one-tap effects, and Atlas Cloud named it alongside AI Hug, Kiss and Earth Zoom in PixVerse's family of trending templates (posted 30 Jun 2026). Higgsfield's version is a camera motion called Eyes In, marked 'Top Choice' on its page, which it describes as moving the camera close to the subject's eyes. Some sites call the look 'Lost in Your Iris' (pxz.ai, read 18 Oct 2026).

Our take finishes the move. Many eye-zoom templates stop at the eye; ours keeps going through the pupil and out into space, and the galaxy takes its colours from your eye, so brown eyes open onto amber and gold, blue eyes onto ice and sapphire. There's a version for your cat or dog too, and a cat's slit pupil makes a fine doorway into space.

Is the Into the Eye Zoom trend still growing?

Established. The eye zoom is a staple camera effect that several apps keep in their libraries (PixVerse, Higgsfield, Magic Hour, CapCut and others, read 18 Oct 2026) rather than a breaking trend, and we found no single viral post that started it. People search it as "eye zoom", "eyes zoom in" and "lost in your iris".

How to do the Into the Eye Zoom trend: by hand or in one click

By hand: put your photo into the scene with an image model, regenerate until the face looks like you, give that still to an image-to-video model with the moves written out, then check the face holds to the last frame.

Here, in one click: add a photo for each person, see a free preview still of you in the scene, then make the 1080p video from it. You pay only when it’s ready.

Into the Eye Zoom mixes

  • Into your eye
  • Your pet: Pet version: the pet from the photo, the whole animal with no clothes or costume, in place of a person, looking up into the lens. The camera dives into one of its own eyes, keeping its real eye colour and pupil shape (a cat's slit pupil stays a slit until it opens into space), then falls through into a galaxy in that eye colour. It never turns into a person

Photo tips for Into the Eye Zoom

  • One sharp, front-facing photo in good light with your eyes wide open: the camera ends up inside your iris, so a blurry or squinting photo shows.
  • Daylight from a window brings out your real eye colour best; the galaxy takes its colours from it.
  • Glasses are fine (the scene keeps them), but glare on the lenses can hide the eye. Take off sunglasses.
  • One person per photo: your own, or an adult's who said yes, never a child's.
  • For your pet, a close, sharp photo of its face with both eyes open and catching the light.

Who to cast

  • You (the classic)
  • The friend with the striking eyes
  • Your partner, with their yes
  • Your cat or dog

Into the Eye Zoom FAQ

Is there a free Into the Eye Zoom AI video generator?

You can preview yourself in the Into the Eye Zoom scene free. The full 1080p video costs 100 credits, charged only when it's ready. Credits come in packs from $9.90 for 100 and work on any trend.

Which app makes the Into the Eye Zoom AI video?

Creators put their photo into the scene with an image model, then animate it with an image-to-video model. This page does both for you from one photo: a free preview still first, then the video.

How many photos do I need for Into the Eye Zoom?

One clear, front-facing photo per person (or pet). This template has room for 2. Add up to 3 photos of each for a closer likeness.

What happens to my photos?

They are stored privately, sent to the video model through short-lived links, never used for training, and deleted with your video after 30 days.

What is the Into the Eye Zoom trend?

A 5-second AI video where the camera pushes into your eye until your iris fills the screen, falls through the pupil and lands in a swirling galaxy. It's made from one photo of you, and the galaxy takes its colours from your own eyes.

Is it free?

The preview is free: add a photo and see a still of yourself under the starry rooftop sky in about a minute. The 5-second video is 100 credits ($9.90), in 1080p.

How do I do the eye zoom trend?

Add one sharp photo with your eyes open, check the free preview, then make the video. There's no prompt to write, no keyframes and no editing app: the zoom, the iris and the galaxy are built in. Post it in TikTok, Reels or Shorts with the sound you like.

Is this the PixVerse Eye Zoom Challenge?

It's the same idea, our own version. PixVerse's effect is called Eye Zoom Challenge and Higgsfield's camera motion is called Eyes In; ours goes all the way through the pupil into a galaxy in your eye colour, and adds a version for pets.

Will it keep my real eye colour?

That's what it's written to do: the iris in the close-up should match the colour in your photo, and the galaxy is tinted to match it. Use a daylight photo so your eye colour reads clearly. Every take is new, so check yours before posting.

Can I do it with my cat or dog?

Yes. Pick Your pet and add a close, sharp photo of its face with both eyes open. The camera dives into one of its eyes, keeping its real eye colour and pupil shape, and out into a galaxy.

How is it different from Dolly Zoom or Earth Zoom Out?

Dolly Zoom keeps you the same size while the street behind you stretches. Earth Zoom Out pulls the camera up and away from you until the whole planet shows. Into the Eye Zoom goes the other way: in, closer and closer, until you're inside your own eye.

How long is the video, and does it have sound?

5 seconds, vertical 9:16, in 1080p: about a second on your face, a second and a half of push-in, then the pupil and the galaxy. It comes without a soundtrack, so add a sound in TikTok; a deep whoosh or a slow ambient track suits the fall into space.

Does it work with glasses?

Yes, the opening keeps them. Glare on the lenses can hide your eye in the photo, though, so tilt your head slightly away from the light, and take off sunglasses.

Can I use a photo of someone else?

Only an adult who said yes, and never a child's photo. Or skip people altogether and use your pet's eyes.
