What is the AI Wedding AI trend?
An AI wedding video here is ten seconds of the two of you just married: walking hand in hand down a sunlit aisle toward the camera while rose petals fall around you, then one of you twirls the other into a first-dance hold. Add one photo per partner: a free preview still of you both on the aisle comes back in about a minute, and the 10-second video in 1080p is 100 credits ($9.90). Pick Suit and gown, Two suits or Two gowns, so any couple can be dressed the way they'd marry. It doesn't edit footage you already have: it makes a new clip from two photos.
It's a genre, not one viral clip. Wedding editors have used AI effects since at least May 2023, and on 1 Oct 2024 a wedding-film YouTuber posted what he called the world's first AI generated wedding video. Over the winter of 2025-26, AI transitions and pop-art effects spread through Indian wedding teasers. In 2026 the biggest audiences came from two directions. Fakes: AI wedding photos of a famous acting couple fooled so many people in March that the actress said on a chat show they weren't real (BBC, 17 Mar), and in August a viral AI video put a superhero film's lead couple into a South Indian wedding. Gifts: in July a Kazakhstan couple's friends gave them an AI film of their love story across the centuries, and the bride's reaction went viral (India Today, 20 Jul); in August Higgsfield AI posted a tutorial for an era-hopping love story made for a friend's wedding, which it says reached about 500M views across social. As of 18 Oct 2026, ClipTrend sells a one-photo AI Wedding Generator (6 seconds, a gown or a suit for one person) and media.io lists 25 wedding video prompts, from a chapel aisle walk to a first dance.
Ours takes two photos, one person in each. Each face, with its hair, facial hair and glasses, comes from its own photo; the clothes, the hall and the petals come from the scene: tall arched windows, an ivory aisle runner lined with white flowers and candle lanterns, and nobody else in the frame. There's no kiss, no names or date on screen and no sound, so add your first-dance song and your own caption when you post. Everyone in it has to be an adult who agreed to be in it, and you confirm that for both photos (our consent rules): it's for couples making it together, as a save-the-date teaser, for an elopement that skipped the big day or for an anniversary, and never a fake wedding of someone who didn't agree. Still waiting on the question? That's AI Proposal.
Is the AI Wedding trend still growing?
Evergreen, with spikes. People have made AI wedding videos since at least May 2023, and there's no one clip it peaked with. The biggest audiences in 2026 came from fakes of famous couples (March and August) and from AI love-story films given as wedding gifts (July and August). On 18 Oct 2026 Google completes "ai wedding video" ten ways, but most of those are about editing real footage or making invitations; one site we track sells a wedding video template (ClipTrend), and it scores 1.0 on our radar. We haven't measured a seasonal rise.
How to do the AI Wedding trend: by hand or in one click
By hand: put your photo into the scene with an image model, regenerate until the face looks like you, give that still to an image-to-video model with the moves written out, then check the face holds to the last frame.
Here, in one click: add a photo for each person, see a free preview still of you in the scene, then make the 1080p video from it. You pay only when it’s ready.
AI Wedding mixes
- Suit and gown
- Two suits: instead of a suit and a gown: the person on the left keeps the midnight-navy suit; the person on the right wears a tailored ivory suit, white shirt, plain ivory tie, white rose buttonhole and tan shoes, with no bouquet and no veil; on the twirl the ivory jacket swings open. Plain fabrics, no logos
- Two gowns: instead of a suit and a gown: the person on the left wears a long-sleeved ivory crepe gown with a high round neck, no veil, and holds a small posy of white peonies; the person on the right keeps the ivory satin gown, the short veil and the bouquet of white roses; on the twirl the satin skirt flares out. Plain fabrics, no lace or logos
Photo tips for AI Wedding
- One person per photo, facing the camera, sharp and well lit, chest up or waist up.
- The first photo walks on the left and twirls; the second walks on the right and spins. Swap the photos to swap who spins (and, in Suit and gown, who wears which).
- Similar light and angles in the two photos help you look like you're in the same hall.
- Glasses stay if you wear them in the photo; take off sunglasses and hats.
- Your own clothes don't matter: the wedding clothes come from the version you pick.
- Both photos must show adults who have agreed to their photo going into this video.
Who to cast
- You and your fiancé or fiancée, for a save-the-date teaser
- Newlyweds who want one more clip of the day
- A couple who eloped or skipped the big wedding
- Long-time partners, for an anniversary
- Two friends in on the joke, both of whom said yes
AI Wedding FAQ
Is there a free AI Wedding AI video generator?
You can preview yourself in the AI Wedding scene free. The full 1080p video costs 100 credits, charged only when it's ready. Credits come in packs from $9.90 for 100 and work on any trend.
Which app makes the AI Wedding AI video?
Creators put their photo into the scene with an image model, then animate it with an image-to-video model. This page does both for you from one photo: a free preview still first, then the video.
How many photos do I need for AI Wedding?
One clear, front-facing photo per person (or pet). This template has room for 2. Add up to 3 photos of each for a closer likeness.
What happens to my photos?
They are stored privately, sent to the video model through short-lived links, never used for training, and deleted with your video after 30 days.
What is the AI wedding video trend?
Short AI clips of a couple on their wedding day, made from photos rather than filmed. It's a genre, not one viral clip: wedding editors have used AI since at least 2023, and in 2026 the widest reach came from AI love-story films given as wedding gifts and from fake AI weddings of famous couples.
How do I make an AI wedding video?
Upload one photo of each partner and choose a version: Suit and gown, Two suits or Two gowns. A preview still of the two of you on the aisle comes back for free; if you like it, make the 10-second video. Nothing to prompt: the petals, the twirl and the first dance are part of the scene.
Is there a free AI wedding video generator?
Only the preview is free: add your two photos and a still of you both on the aisle comes back in about a minute, no card needed. The 10-second wedding video costs 100 credits ($9.90) and comes in 1080p. ClipTrend's "free" is a batch of starting credits for new accounts (read 18 Oct 2026).
Do we both have to agree?
Yes: both of you, and both adults. You confirm it before the video is made. A wedding clip of someone who never agreed, like a crush or an ex, isn't allowed, and nothing you make here should be passed off as footage of a real ceremony. Our consent page has the rules.
Does it work for two grooms or two brides?
Yes. Pick Two suits or Two gowns. In Suit and gown the second photo wears the gown; change the photo order to change who wears it.
Who spins in the first dance?
The partner in the second photo spins under the first one's raised arm, then you settle into the dance together. Put your photos in the other order to switch.
Can it edit our real wedding video?
No. Most "ai wedding video editor" searches are about editing real footage, and this isn't that tool. It makes a new 10-second clip from two photos.
Can I use it as a wedding invitation or save-the-date?
Yes, as the moving part. There's no text in the video, so add your names, date and venue in TikTok, CapCut or any editor afterwards. ClipTrend's own guide suggests the same: facts in the edit, not in the AI frames.
How long is the AI wedding video?
Ten seconds, 9:16 for phones, in 1080p: roughly five seconds down the aisle and five for the twirl and the dance. ClipTrend's one-photo effect is 6 seconds (read 18 Oct 2026).
What song do people use for AI wedding videos?
No one song goes with it: couples use their own first-dance song. The video is silent, so pick the track when you post it to TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
Can we choose the venue or the outfits?
The outfits, yes: three versions, all plain, with no designer names or logos. The venue is one hall of our own, with tall windows, white flowers and candle lanterns, and no religious setting, so it isn't tied to one faith.
Can I make it with just one photo?
Not this one: it's the two of you walking and dancing, so it needs a photo of each partner. (ClipTrend's wedding effect is the one-photo kind: one person dressed for the day, read 18 Oct 2026.)
Is it the same as the AI proposal?
No. AI Proposal is the question: one of you kneels with a ring box, by the sea or under fairy lights. This one is the day itself: the aisle, the petals and the first dance. See AI Proposal.
Can my dog be in our AI wedding video?
Not in this one; both roles are people. If you want your dog or cat in a video with you, AI Hug has a pet version.
Which photos work?
A photo per partner, on your own in it, looking at the camera, in focus and in good light; chest up or waist up is plenty, because the wedding clothes come from the scene. If the two photos have similar light, you'll look like you're standing in the same hall. Keep your glasses on if you wear them; no sunglasses or hats.
Will it look like both of us?
Both faces come from your own photos, with your hair, facial hair and glasses, and we hold them through every beat. The twirl is where AI most often slips, because one face turns away for a moment. The free preview shows you the opening frame, and a sharper, front-facing photo is the best fix if a face looks off.
Is my photo kept?
For 30 days, then it's deleted automatically, and it's never used to train AI. You can delete everything sooner with Delete my data on Your videos.
