What is the AI Angel Wings AI trend?
AI Angel Wings is a 5-second video in which you stand above a sea of golden-hour clouds, a warm flare of light swells behind your shoulders, and two huge feathered wings burst open wider than the frame, throwing a spray of loose feathers into the sun before you smile at the camera. Add one photo, get a free preview still of yourself in the clouds in about a minute, then make the video in 1080p for 100 credits ($9.90). Your face stays yours the whole way: only the wings are new.
It's one of the effects nearly every photo-to-video tool now sells. On 18 Oct 2026 we counted angel-wing effects at Kling (four wing effects: pure white, golden, pink and black, listed on fal), PixVerse ('Holy Wings'), Vidu (an 'AI Angel Wings Video Generator' that takes one front-facing photo and lets you pick nothing but the number of videos), insMind ('AI Angel Wings', glowing animated wings from a portrait), Magic Hour (an 'Angel Wings' template published on 15 Mar 2026 and a 'White Angel Wings' one on 11 May 2026) and Pippit ('angel wings effect flying in the sky'). Google completes "ai angel wings" with effect, video, "add angel wings to photo" and "ai app with angel wings" (18 Oct 2026).
Ours comes in three colours and one pet version. White is the classic. Golden wings glint like metal in a sunset, the way Kling's 'golden wing' effect does; pink wings are soft and fluffy against a pastel dusk, after Kling's pink one. There's no black-wing version here on purpose: that's our separate Fallen Angel template, set in a moonlit ruin. You don't write a prompt: the clouds, the light, the gust and the sound are built in.
Is the AI Angel Wings trend still growing?
Established. Angel wings aren't a breaking trend: they're a standing effect that at least six photo-to-video tools sell, with steady searches for the effect, the video and the prompt (18 Oct 2026). Expect it all year, with bumps around Christmas, Halloween costumes and birthdays.
How to do the AI Angel Wings trend: by hand or in one click
By hand: put your photo into the scene with an image model, regenerate until the face looks like you, give that still to an image-to-video model with the moves written out, then check the face holds to the last frame.
Here, in one click: add a photo for each person, see a free preview still of you in the scene, then make the 1080p video from it. You pay only when it’s ready.
AI Angel Wings mixes
- White wings
- Golden wings: Wing colour: no white wings. The wings are burnished gold: each feather metallic gold with warm amber edges that catch the sunset light and glint as they open, and the feathers that drift away are small flakes of gold that sparkle in the air. The sky is a deeper orange-gold sunset above the clouds. Same beats: the flare of light behind the shoulders, the wings bursting open wider than the frame, one slow beat and the smile at the lens. Sound: a bright metallic shimmer as the wings open, a soft whoosh, light wind.
- Pink wings: Wing colour: no white wings. The wings are soft pastel pink, fluffy and light, shading to pale rose at the tips, and the drifting feathers are pink too. The clouds glow pink and lilac in a dreamy pastel dusk with a few tiny sparkles in the air. Same beats: the flare of light behind the shoulders, the wings bursting open wider than the frame, one slow beat and the smile at the lens. Sound: a soft airy whoosh and a light sparkle chime.
- Your pet: The pet version: no person. The pet from the photo, the whole animal in its own build, colours and markings, with no clothes, halo or costume, sits on the same golden-hour clouds. A soft glow blooms behind its shoulders and a pair of fluffy white feathered wings, in proportion to its body, pop open and give one little flap, sending a few small feathers drifting; its head, face, eyes, ears and paws stay its own and never change. It tilts its head and looks into the lens, happy and calm. Never a person, never human features, never standing upright. Sound: a soft flutter, a light whoosh, gentle wind.
Photo tips for AI Angel Wings
- One sharp photo of you, face to the camera and well lit: your face stays front and centre while the wings open.
- Waist up works best; your outfit doesn't matter, the scene dresses you in flowing white.
- If you wear glasses, keep them on for the photo and the angel keeps them. Take off sunglasses and hats.
- One person per photo: your own, or an adult's who said yes, never a child's.
- For your pet, one clear daylight photo of the whole animal with its face visible.
Who to cast
- You (the classic)
- Your best friend, with their yes
- Your partner, for a sweet one
- Your dog or cat as a little angel
AI Angel Wings FAQ
Is there a free AI Angel Wings AI video generator?
You can preview yourself in the AI Angel Wings scene free. The full 1080p video costs 100 credits, charged only when it's ready. Credits come in packs from $9.90 for 100 and work on any trend.
Which app makes the AI Angel Wings AI video?
Creators put their photo into the scene with an image model, then animate it with an image-to-video model. This page does both for you from one photo: a free preview still first, then the video.
How many photos do I need for AI Angel Wings?
One clear, front-facing photo per person (or pet). This template has room for 2. Add up to 3 photos of each for a closer likeness.
What happens to my photos?
They are stored privately, sent to the video model through short-lived links, never used for training, and deleted with your video after 30 days.
What is the AI angel wings effect?
You turn a photo of yourself into a short video in which feathered wings grow from your back and open wide behind you. Most photo-to-video apps sell a version. Ours is 5 seconds from one photo, above the clouds at golden hour, with your own face.
How do I add angel wings to a photo with AI?
Add one clear photo of your face and check the free preview still: it shows you in the clouds with the wings still folded. Then make the video, and the wings burst open. There's no prompt to write and nothing to mask by hand.
Is the AI angel wings video free?
The preview is free: add a photo and see a still of yourself in about a minute. The 5-second video is 100 credits ($9.90), in 1080p.
What colours can the wings be?
White (the classic), golden or soft pink. Pick the colour before you make the video. Black wings are a different template, Fallen Angel, with a moonlit ruin instead of clouds.
Will it still look like me?
Yes. Your face, hair, facial hair and glasses come from your photo and stay front and centre as the wings open; only the wings and the outfit are new. The free preview shows your face before you spend anything.
What's a good AI prompt for angel wings?
On other tools you describe it yourself (Magic Hour's White Angel Wings prompt asks for large white wings spreading gracefully behind the subject, with hair moving in the wind). Here you don't write one: the flare of light, the wings, the gust of feathers and the smile are already written into the scene.
Can my dog or cat have angel wings?
Yes. Pick Your pet and add a photo of the whole animal: it sits on the clouds and a pair of fluffy white wings in its size pop open behind its shoulders. Its face and markings stay its own.
What will I be wearing?
A plain, long-sleeved flowing white garment, whatever you wear in your photo. No halo and no costume props: just you, the light and the wings.
Can I do it with a friend?
Not in one video: each one has a single person or pet. Make one each and post them side by side, or stitch them in TikTok.
Does the video have sound?
Yes: a deep feathery whoosh as the wings open, soft wind and a faint shimmer. Add a trending sound on top in TikTok, Reels or Shorts if you like.
Is there an angel wings filter on Instagram or TikTok?
Wing filters come and go on both apps, and most put flat wings on a live camera. This one is a finished video: the wings grow and open on their own, with the light and the feathers, from a single photo.
