On The Radar AI trend the 679 booth, explained
The On The Radar AI trend, also searched as the 679 AI trend, puts two people at the mic in the green-lit On The Radar freestyle booth, trading the hook of Fetty Wap's "679". It isn't on Jump on the Trend yet: on 16 Oct 2026 we couldn't find one clip that people are recasting with their own faces, and we only make trends from one real clip. The nearest thing you can make today is Hotel Lobby, you and a friend at one mic in a studio, with a free preview first.
What is the On The Radar AI trend?
It's an AI take on a hip-hop show's set. On The Radar Radio films artists freestyling in one small booth: a wall washed in green light, the neon On The Radar sign, a mic on a stand and a camera that never moves. The AI versions keep that look, usually play "679" by Fetty Wap featuring Remy Boyz over it, and put two new people at the mic. The ones we found run about 10 to 14 seconds.
People search for it under several names: "on the radar ai", "679 ai video", "fetty wap ai trend" and "on the radar freestyle ai video". They all mean this booth scene with this song.
One thing sets it apart from the trends we make: "On The Radar AI" isn't one viral clip. One template is named after 1900Rugrat, who freestyled in the booth at least three times in late 2024; some tools generate a fresh green booth from a written prompt; and searches for the 679 version lead back to Fetty Wap and Monty performing the song in the booth, posted on 17 Apr 2026.
Most AI versions we came across put TV characters, superheroes or other famous faces at the mic rather than the poster and a friend. We don't make those, and we couldn't verify a wave of people using their own faces.

How to do the On The Radar AI trend
Short answer: people make it on template sites, or in two steps with general AI tools. Here's what the pages and tutorials we read on 16 Oct 2026 describe.
- Template sites. Starrd, Media.io and Flowlio each have an On The Radar template that takes two photos, one per person, and returns a short booth clip: 14 seconds on Starrd, 10 on Flowlio. Starrd and Media.io say theirs come with "679"; Flowlio says to add the track when you post. Starrd and Flowlio charge credits per video, and all three give some free credits at sign-up. Summrs lists booth templates named after different performers.
- Doing it yourself. Both routes we read start with stills. Starrd's how-to makes one image of the two people in the green booth, then has a video tool animate it, following a reference performance for the movement, and adds "679" afterwards. The 3 Oct YouTube tutorial makes a character image for each person, then swaps the two into a booth video with an AI swap template.
- Prompt only. Dreamina's page skips the show altogether. Its three sample prompts each describe one rapper in an original setting rather than the show's branded booth, and it reminds you that a generator doesn't give you the rights to a song.

Is the On The Radar trend over?
Stage on 16 Oct 2026: hard to call. People are still searching for it, but we can't show it's rising, because we found no AI version big enough to measure.
The signs it's alive: the first dated template guide we found is from 19 Sep 2026, how-tos kept coming into early October, and on 16 Oct Google still completed "on the radar ai" with "video generator", "video generator free", "template", "tutorial" and "trend". The signs it never became one big clip: the AI tutorials we found on YouTube had 137 and 1,223 views, far below the 2.3M on the Fetty Wap and Monty booth video itself, and the versions copy different performances.
If one own-face version takes off, things can move fast. Across the AI trends we've measured, Google search peaked a median of 5 days after the first AI post (more in how long TikTok trends last).
Trends like On The Radar you can make today
Each of these is one real viral clip with the sound. Add a selfie and see a free preview still of yourself in it in under a minute.
- Hotel Lobby ≈137M views · 2 people · 15s The closest match. Two performers trade bars at one hanging mic in a music-performance studio, filmed in one static shot with no cuts, so it's On The Radar's idea with an orange wall instead of green light. Add one photo for you and one for your friend. See yourself in it
- Bulin 47↗ Rising ≈380M views · 1 person · 15s The freestyle moment, solo. You take the rapper's spot under red neon while a crowd films you on their phones. Pick it if you want the freestyle energy and don't have a second person to hand. See yourself in it
- Alors on Danse↗ Rising ≈14M views · 2 people · 18s Another two-person studio bit. One of you concentrates on a tiny keyboard, the other can't stop dancing and leans into the lens. It works with the same friend you'd have taken into the booth. See yourself in it
Want the On The Radar trend here?
We'd look at adding it once there's one clip to copy: a single On The Radar booth video that people are recasting with their own faces (we look for five or more separate remakes), with an adult cast and a cut of 30 seconds or less. Right now the versions copy different booth performances or are generated from prompts, most star characters or famous people, and there's no agreed short cut of the roughly three-minute performances. So there's no Ask-for-it button on this page. If you've seen an own-face version taking off, paste its TikTok or Reel link into Suggest a trend and it goes into our daily review.
Questions people ask
Is there a free On The Radar AI video generator?
Not one we could confirm. On 16 Oct 2026 Starrd and Flowlio charged credits per video, and all three template sites we checked gave some free credits at sign-up. Starrd says its welcome credits don't cover a full video; Media.io says its sign-up credits let you try it, which we didn't test. We don't make On The Radar yet. On the similar trends here, like Hotel Lobby, the preview still is free and the video is 100 credits ($9.90).
How do I do the On The Radar AI trend?
Either upload two photos to an On The Radar template, or build it yourself: make a still of both people in a green booth and animate it with an AI video tool that follows a reference performance (or swap two character images into a booth video), then add "679". For the nearest trend we make, open Hotel Lobby, add one photo per person and check the free preview.
Can I do the On The Radar trend with my face or my pet?
Not on Jump on the Trend yet. For your face and a friend's, Hotel Lobby is the nearest: two people, one mic, one photo each, and everyone in it must be an adult who said yes. Some template sites say they take pet photos; our pet trends put your cat or dog into the whole clip, listed in AI pet video trends.
What song is the On The Radar AI trend?
"679" by Fetty Wap featuring Remy Boyz, from 29 Jun 2015. It reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The title refers to Fetty Wap's birth date, 7 June 1991, and the song has the rappers admiring a woman in a club. We don't reprint lyrics.
Who is in the original On The Radar 679 video?
Fetty Wap and Monty of Remy Boyz performed "679" in the booth for an On The Radar Classics video, posted on YouTube on 17 Apr 2026. It had about 2.3M views when we read it on 16 Oct 2026. It's the booth video searches for the 679 version lead to, but we couldn't confirm which performance each AI version copies, and some templates are named after other performers.
Is the 679 AI trend the same as On The Radar?
Yes. "679 ai video", "fetty wap ai trend" and "on the radar ai" are names for the same thing: two people in the green freestyle booth to the same song.
Do I need a prompt for the On The Radar AI trend?
Not on a template site: you upload two photos. Building it yourself takes a prompt for the still and a reference video for the movement. On Jump on the Trend you never write a prompt for a trend; you add a photo, and you can type a short change to the preview if something's off.
Is the On The Radar trend over?
Not over, but hard to call. On 16 Oct 2026 people were still searching for it, while the AI versions we could measure were small. The first dated template guide we found is from 19 Sep 2026.
