The Bridal Carry AI trend in short
What it is: On a beach at sunset one of you scoops the other up into your arms, bridal style, and turns a slow, laughing circle before you both look into the camera.
How to do it: Add a clear selfie on this page, see yourself in it free, then make the 5-second video. No app, no prompt.
Who to put in it: You and your partner, for an anniversary or a 'we're engaged' post, Newlyweds who never got the threshold photo, The partner who'd never be able to lift you in real life (swap the photos).

What is the Bridal Carry AI trend?
The AI bridal carry is a five-second couple video: the two of you stand face to face, one scoops the other up into their arms the way a groom carries a bride over the threshold, one arm behind the back and one under the knees, and turns a slow, laughing circle before you both look into the camera. Here you add one photo of each of you, get a free preview still of the two of you on a beach at sunset in about a minute, and then the 5-second video in 1080p for 100 credits ($9.90). People search for it as "bridal carry ai", "ai bridal carry" and "ai bridal carry video generator" (Google completions, 18 Oct 2026).
It isn't one viral clip; it's an app effect that the AI video sites keep copying. The earliest version we found is Pollo AI's AI Bridal Carry effect, which the Internet Archive caught on 14 Mar 2025: one photo of two people, 15 credits, and a default prompt that told the model the man lifts the woman. Vidu added a Bridal Carry AI Generator by 11 May 2026, and on 18 Oct 2026 ClipTrend sells an AI Bridal Carry Generator (one couple photo or two separate photos, 5 to 6 seconds, 48 credits) and Morphic has a bridal carry effect page with ten example scenes, from a hotel corridor to a lakeside jetty. On YouTube the effect shows up in small brand demos, such as Picwand's AI Bridal Carry Short of 18 Nov 2025. In mid-October 2026 a run of 10-second Shorts flipped the idea, with the bride lifting the groom; a few are labelled AI (one posted 14 Oct is titled "Wedding Comedy Ai"), most don't say, and none we found passed about 29K views.
Ours takes two photos, one person in each, and the order of the photos decides who lifts and who's carried, not anyone's gender: swap them to swap. Your faces, hair, facial hair and glasses come from your own photos, and you keep the clothes you're wearing in them. Pick Sunset beach, Over the threshold (a cottage doorway at dusk, lamplight spilling out) or Confetti shower (pale stone steps under falling paper confetti). There's no kiss, no names on screen and no music, just waves, a gasp and laughing, so add your song when you post. Both people have to be adults who agreed to be in it (our consent rules). For the moment before, try AI Proposal; for a quieter one, AI Hug.
Is the Bridal Carry trend still growing?
A steady app effect rather than a breaking wave. Pollo AI had it by 14 Mar 2025, Vidu by 11 May 2026, and ClipTrend and Morphic still offered it on 18 Oct 2026. There's some search interest on Google ("bridal carry ai", "ai bridal carry video generator free") but none showing on YouTube, and the posts we can see are small: the biggest bride-carries-groom Short we found from mid-October 2026 had about 29K views by 18 Oct.
How to do the Bridal Carry trend: by hand or in one click
By hand: put your photo into the scene with an image model, regenerate until the face looks like you, give that still to an image-to-video model with the moves written out, then check the face holds to the last frame.
Here, in one click: add a photo for each person, see a free preview still of you in the scene, then make the 1080p video from it. You pay only when it’s ready.
Bridal Carry mixes
- Sunset beach
- Over the threshold: instead of the beach: the front step of a small whitewashed cottage at dusk, its blue front door wide open behind them, warm lamplight spilling out, fairy lights along the eaves. Instead of a full circle the carrier turns a half circle toward the doorway as if to carry them in, then back to the camera, ending on both faces laughing in the doorway light. No house number or signs
- Confetti shower: Confetti instead of the beach: the foot of wide pale stone steps outside a plain old stone building on a bright afternoon, white and blush-pink paper confetti falling throughout from out of frame (no hands or guests); on the turn it swirls up and catches in their hair, never on a face. No signs, plaques or religious symbols
Photo tips for Bridal Carry
- One person per photo, facing the camera, sharp and well lit, chest up or waist up.
- The first photo does the lifting; the second gets carried. Swap the photos to swap who sweeps who off their feet.
- A photo that shows a bit of your build (waist up, not a tight headshot) helps the lift look natural.
- Glasses stay if you wear them in the photo; take off sunglasses and hats.
- You keep the clothes from your photo, so wear what you'd want to be twirled in.
- Both photos must show adults, and both people must agree to be in this video before you upload.
Who to cast
- You and your partner, for an anniversary or a 'we're engaged' post
- Newlyweds who never got the threshold photo
- The partner who'd never be able to lift you in real life (swap the photos)
- A long-distance couple who haven't seen each other in months
- Two friends in on the joke, both of whom said yes
Bridal Carry FAQ
Is there a free Bridal Carry AI video generator?
You can preview yourself in the Bridal Carry scene free. The full 1080p video costs 100 credits, charged only when it's ready. Credits come in packs from $9.90 for 100 and work on any trend.
Which app makes the Bridal Carry AI video?
Creators put their photo into the scene with an image model, then animate it with an image-to-video model. This page does both for you from one photo: a free preview still first, then the video.
How many photos do I need for Bridal Carry?
One clear, front-facing photo per person (or pet). This template has room for 2. Add up to 3 photos of each for a closer likeness.
What happens to my photos?
They are stored privately, sent to the video model through short-lived links, never used for training, and deleted with your video after 30 days.
What is the AI bridal carry trend?
A short AI couple video where one partner scoops the other up into their arms, one arm behind the back and one under the knees, and turns with them. Here it's made from two photos, one of each of you, on a sunset beach, a cottage doorway or stone steps under confetti.
Is the AI bridal carry video generator free?
The preview is free: add your two photos and see a still of the two of you in about a minute. The 5-second video is 100 credits ($9.90), in 1080p. On 18 Oct 2026 ClipTrend listed its version at 48 of its credits a video.
Can the bride carry the groom?
Yes. Whoever is in the first photo does the lifting, whoever is in the second gets carried, so swap the photos to swap. It works the same for any couple. In October 2026 a run of short bride-carries-groom clips appeared on YouTube, though most aren't labelled AI.
Do I need a photo of us together?
No. You add one photo per person, and each face comes from its own photo, so it works for long-distance couples. Waist-up photos help the lift look natural more than tight headshots do.
Will we keep our own clothes?
Yes, you keep what you're wearing in your photos; anything the photo doesn't show is filled in plain and casual. For a suit and gown and an aisle, try AI Wedding instead.
Does it have sound?
It has waves, a surprised gasp and the two of you laughing, but no music or words. Add the song you want in TikTok or Instagram when you post.
Can I do it with someone who hasn't agreed?
No. Both photos must show adults who agreed to be in the video. It's made for couples making it together: an anniversary, an engagement post, or the threshold moment you never filmed. See our consent rules.
Where did the bridal carry AI effect start?
There's no single viral post. The earliest version we found is Pollo AI's AI Bridal Carry effect, archived on 14 Mar 2025; Vidu, ClipTrend and Morphic have since added their own.
