White Chicks AI trend the A Thousand Miles car scene

The White Chicks AI trend puts new faces into the car scene from the 2004 comedy White Chicks: Latrell (Terry Crews) sings Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles" at the wheel with total conviction while his passenger, holding a tiny dog, side-eyes him in horror. You can't make it on Jump on the Trend. It's a scene from a Hollywood film rather than a creator's clip, and it isn't on our list for now. Its AI wave peaked in July 2026, during the World Cup. If you want a two-person scene with a friend or your partner, the duo trends below give you a free preview in under a minute.

WHAT IT IS

What is the White Chicks trend?

It's a short moment from White Chicks, the Keenen Ivory Wayans comedy that opened in US cinemas on 23 Jun 2004, in which two FBI agent brothers go undercover as two white sisters, Brittany and Tiffany Wilson. Terry Crews plays Latrell Spencer, a pro basketball player who falls for "Tiffany", who is really Marcus (Marlon Wayans) in disguise. In the car scene Latrell drives at night, singing "A Thousand Miles" as if his life depends on it, while Tiffany sits beside him clutching a small dog.

The cut people copy runs about 12 to 18 seconds in the versions we cite. Starrd's how-to page (26 Sep 2026) lays it out as four shots: a wide two-shot through the windscreen at night, with the passenger and the dog on the left and Latrell driving on the right; a close-up of the passenger's side-eye; a close-up of Latrell singing, ending with a finger tapped to his temple; and the passenger's frozen stare. The joke is the gap between the two seats. One person is giving a soft piano love song everything; the other is trapped in the car with it.

In the AI versions both seats get new faces, while the car, the night, the dog and the song stay. The version that made it big, in early July 2026, put two World Cup footballers in the seats. Since then people have used their partners and friends, others have dropped in characters from other films, and app template pages pitch pet versions. People search for it as the White Chicks AI trend, the White Chicks car scene AI, the White Chicks AI template, the A Thousand Miles AI video and the Terry Crews car scene. They all mean this one scene.

HOW IT'S MADE

How to make the White Chicks AI video

Mostly with a template, not a prompt. The template guides we read from mid-July 2026 on describe the same route: pick the White Chicks car template in an app, add one photo for the driver and one for the passenger, and the app puts both faces in the scene. Summrs describes swapping the faces onto the film clip itself; Starrd says its template rebuilds the scene from your two photos, dog included. A TikTok couple version is tagged #glamapp, a YouTube tutorial from 2 Aug 2026 walks through the Glam AI template, and several AI video sites now have White Chicks template pages. We haven't tested them and don't rank them.

The other route is to generate a new car scene from scratch. Media.io's page suggests uploading a photo, describing a night-time car interior filmed from the dashboard, and running a separate lip-sync tool so the singing lines up with the audio. That gets you a car and a singer, but not the exact scene people recognise.

Two things make it harder than it looks. The two close-ups carry the joke, so the driver's mouth has to keep up with the song and the passenger has to hold one stare for seconds at a time. And in the wide shot both faces are small and seen through glass at night, a hard case for any face swap.

IS IT STILL GOING

Is the White Chicks trend over?

Stage on 16 Oct 2026: past its peak, with steady leftover searches. The AI wave rode the World Cup: worldwide Google searches for "white chicks ai" had their two biggest weeks starting 5 and 12 Jul 2026. They dropped away in August, came back to about three-quarters of the peak in the weeks of 20 and 27 Sep, and the week that began on 11 Oct stands at about half, with days still to count. The volume is small, so single weeks jump around.

New remakes are thin. The parodies we found on YouTube Shorts from 30 Sep to 9 Oct had between about a hundred and a couple of thousand views each, a long way from the World Cup edits. People still look for a way to make it, though: on 16 Oct Google still finishes "white chicks ai" with template, car scene, video generator, trend and app, and "white chicks car scene" with ai.

Want the White Chicks trend here?

It isn't on our list for now. The car scene comes from White Chicks, a 2004 Hollywood comedy from Columbia Pictures, rather than a creator's own clip, so there's no request button on this page. If it's two people side by side with one going all in that you're after, Alors on Danse is the closest thing we make. Seen a trend from a creator's own clip that we don't have yet? Suggest it here.

QUESTIONS

Questions people ask

Is there a free White Chicks AI video generator?

Not on Jump on the Trend, and not on our list for now. The template pages we read on 16 Oct 2026 charge credits for the full video, though some offer free credits when you sign up. Our free preview works on the duo trends above: add two photos and see a still of you both in the scene in under a minute.

Is there a White Chicks AI template?

Yes, elsewhere. Templates of the car scene were out by mid-July 2026: Summrs described the one-photo-per-seat route on 12 Jul, a couple posted a Glam AI version on 19 Jul, and several AI video sites have template pages. There's no White Chicks template here: the source is a film scene, and it isn't on our list for now.

Which app makes the White Chicks AI video?

The TikTok posts and tutorials we read name Glam AI, and a few AI video sites have their own template pages for it. We haven't tested any of them, so we can't say which is best. Check what an app does with your photos before you upload a friend's face.

Can I do the White Chicks trend with my face or my pet?

Not here: it isn't on our list for now. Elsewhere people use their own faces and their partners' and friends', and template pages pitch pet versions. On Jump on the Trend you can put you and a friend in Hotel Lobby or Alors on Danse, or your pet in one of the AI pet trends.

What song is in the White Chicks car scene?

"A Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton, released as a single on 18 Feb 2002. Carlton wrote it about a crush on a Juilliard student she was too shy to speak to, and has described it as a mix of reality and fantasy: a love so consuming you'd do anything for it. That's the joke in the car. A pro athlete sings a shy pianist's love song with complete sincerity to someone who would rather be anywhere else.

What is the A Thousand Miles AI video?

The same trend under its song's name: the White Chicks car scene with new faces in the two seats. Google also suggests "a thousand miles trend ai" and "how to make a thousand miles ai video" for it (16 Oct 2026). Separately, some people make AI covers of the song in other voices, which is a different thing.

Why is White Chicks trending?

The AI side of it comes from the 2026 World Cup. A fan edit put two footballers into the car scene ahead of the Norway–Brazil round-of-16 match, the players reacted to it, and news sites covered it on 3 Jul. Templates followed within about two weeks, and people started putting their own faces in.

Is the White Chicks car scene real or AI?

The scene is real: it's from the 2004 film, with Terry Crews as Latrell and Marlon Wayans in disguise as Tiffany. The AI part is the face swaps that took off in July 2026. The template versions keep the film's car, shots and timing and change who's sitting in the seats.

Is the White Chicks trend over?

Past its peak as of 16 Oct 2026. Searches for "white chicks ai" were highest in the weeks of 5 and 12 Jul, during the World Cup. Late September brought a smaller second bump, and the new remakes we found since are small, though people still search for templates and generators.

How do I do the White Chicks trend?

Elsewhere: pick a White Chicks car template in an app, add one photo for the driver and one for the passenger, then post the result. Not here: it isn't on our list for now. For a two-person scene you can make today, try Raindance or Hotel Lobby: add your photos and the free preview is ready in under a minute; the full video is 100 credits ($9.90), emailed in about 5–10 minutes.
