What is the AI Monster Battle AI trend?
The monster slayer AI trend is a transformation video with a fight at the end. You walk calmly down a smoky street while everyone else runs, armour grows over you without your stride breaking, and when a building-high monster comes out of the smoke behind you, you turn and floor it with one strike. Here you add one photo, get a free preview still of yourself as the armour starts to form in about a minute, then the 10-second video in 1080p for 100 credits ($9.90). People also search for it as an AI monster battle, an AI monster fight or just an AI transformation video.
It grew out of the AI transformation wave of early 2026. A new AI video model came out on 12 Feb 2026, and within two weeks people were posting clips of a person turning into an armoured hero. On 26 Feb TikTok creator @itsaboutai1 posted one captioned as joining the trend, which ClipTrend counts at 2.8M plays. The earliest monster fight we found went up on 12 Mar: a Vietnamese creator's YouTube Short titled, in Vietnamese, transform and fight monsters to protect the world (3.4M views when we read it on 18 Oct). The same day @i.am.shadow056 posted a "transformation trend" TikTok that ClipTrend now links from its Monster Slayer page, with 11M plays and 407K likes by ClipTrend's count. The version ClipTrend sells keeps the same beats: the calm walk while everyone runs, the armour spreading out from one hand, the giant creature, the single finishing blow. Some copies turned people into characters from games and TV shows.
Ours keeps the beats and changes the rest. It's set on a city street with adults, and your face, hair, facial hair and glasses come from your photo and stay uncovered from the first frame to the last: no helmet or mask seals over you at the end, as it does in some versions. Pick one of three looks: Silver Light (silver plate with blue-white seams and a blade of light), Ember (blackened iron with glowing orange seams and a blade of fire) or Frost (ice-crystal armour and a thrown ice spear). The monster is our own, a hunched, horned beast of cracked dark stone rather than a creature from any film, game or anime, and it goes down in light and dust with no blood. The video comes with footsteps, the click of the plates, the beast's roar and the strike, and no music, so add a sound when you post. For a fight between two people, try Anime Battle; for the power without the armour, Superpower.
Is the AI Monster Battle trend still growing?
Past its peak as a TikTok wave, still sold as a template. The posts with the big counts we can see (2.8M, 11M, 3.4M) went up between 26 Feb and 12 Mar 2026, and the later ones we found, from April, are in the hundreds of thousands. ClipTrend has sold Monster Slayer since at least 3 May and still did on 18 Oct, and Starrd added armour transformations in August. On 18 Oct 2026 Google and YouTube don't complete "monster slayer ai"; the phrasings they do complete are "ai monster battle", "ai monster fight" (YouTube) and "ai transformation video".
How to do the AI Monster Battle trend: by hand or in one click
By hand: put your photo into the scene with an image model, regenerate until the face looks like you, give that still to an image-to-video model with the moves written out, then check the face holds to the last frame.
Here, in one click: add a photo for each person, see a free preview still of you in the scene, then make the 1080p video from it. You pay only when it’s ready.
AI Monster Battle mixes
- Silver Light
- Ember: Fire instead of light, no blue anywhere: the glow in the right hand is ember orange; the armour forms as blackened iron plates with glowing orange seams like cooling embers; the blade is wreathed in flame and the strike is a crescent of fire that hits the beast in a burst of flame and dust. Head bare: no helmet, horns, crown or mask.
- Frost: Ice instead of light: the glow in the right hand is pale blue; the armour grows as clear pale-blue ice crystal in sharp facets, frost spreading on the asphalt at each step; instead of a blade a spear of ice forms, and they throw it into the beast's chest, where it bursts in ice shards and freezing mist. Head bare: no helmet, crown or mask.

Which app makes the AI Monster Battle AI video?

How many photos do I need for AI Monster Battle?
One clear, front-facing photo per person (or pet). This template has room for 1. Add up to 3 photos of each for a closer likeness.
What happens to my photos?
They are stored privately, sent to the video model through short-lived links, never used for training, and deleted with your video after 30 days.
What is the monster slayer AI trend?
An AI transformation video: you walk calmly down a smoky street as armour forms over you, then turn and take down a giant monster with one strike. Here it's made from one photo, 10 seconds long, with your face left uncovered.
Is the AI monster battle video free?
The preview is free: add a photo and see a still of yourself mid-transformation in about a minute. The 10-second video is 100 credits ($9.90), in 1080p. ClipTrend's Monster Slayer template showed 369 credits for one run at its default 15-second length when we read it on 18 Oct 2026.
How do I make an AI transformation video of myself?
Add one clear photo, pick Silver Light, Ember or Frost, and check the free preview still. If you like it, make the video. There's no prompt to write: the street, the armour, the monster and the timing are set for you.
Will a helmet cover my face?
No. The armour stops at your neck and your head stays bare, so your face, hair and glasses are visible all the way through. Some versions seal a helmet or mask over the face at the end; we left that out on purpose.
Can I choose the monster?
Not on this one. Every look fights the same beast, a hunched, horned creature of cracked dark stone with amber light in the cracks. What changes is your armour and your strike: a blade of light, a blade of fire or a spear of ice.
Can I do it with a friend or my dog?
Not this one: it's one person. For two people trading blows, try Anime Battle; for a pet in armour, Knight Cat puts your cat or dog in tiny silver armour.
Where did the monster slayer trend start?
There's no single first post. AI transformation videos took off in late February 2026, within two weeks of a new AI video model coming out. The earliest monster fight we found is a Vietnamese YouTube Short of 12 Mar 2026, posted the same day as @i.am.shadow056's "transformation trend" TikTok (11M plays by ClipTrend's count).
Which app did people use for the original videos?
Most of the viral posts name the same new AI video model in their captions, used through several apps. Template sites such as ClipTrend and Starrd sell one-photo versions; we haven't tested them, so we don't rank them.
What song is used in the monster slayer trend?
We couldn't tie a single song to it, and the captions we read don't name one. Yours comes with footsteps, sirens, the armour locking, the roar and the strike, and no music, so add any sound in TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
How long is the video?
10 seconds, vertical for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. The two YouTube versions we timed run 15 and 21 seconds and ClipTrend offers 10 or 15; ours fits the walk, the armour and the strike into 10.
Is it gory?
No. The monster is knocked backwards in a burst of light, sparks and dust and falls out of sight. There's no blood, and nobody in the street gets hurt.
What photo works best?
One sharp, front-facing photo of you, chest up, in good light, with no hat or sunglasses. Your clothes only show for the first few seconds before the armour covers them. More in our photo guide.
Is my photo kept?
For 30 days, then it's deleted automatically, and it's never used to train AI. Delete my data removes it sooner; the details are in our safety guide.
