What is the Long Legs Run AI trend?
Long Legs Run is a 5-second AI video where your legs stretch like rubber to twice their length and you take off down the street in huge, wobbly strides. You start standing on a sunny pavement next to a row of parked cars, glance down at your legs, and then they just keep going: your head rises up to the first-floor windows while your face, body and arms stay exactly as they were. Then you lollop toward the camera on your new stilt legs, arms flailing, and wobble to a stop towering over the cars. Add one photo, see a free preview still in about a minute, then make the video in 1080p for 100 credits ($6.99).

Pick You for yourself or a friend, or Your pet to put your dog or cat on four long, gangly legs: it stays on all fours, its own fur and paws at the bottom, and bounces off down the pavement in a long-legged gallop with its ears flapping. With a full-length photo, your own trousers, skirt and shoes come through and stretch with your legs; from a head-and-shoulders photo we add plain everyday trousers and shoes.
The effect is an AI cousin of the long-leg filters people have used on TikTok and Instagram for years (Google still completes 'long legs filter' to 'instagram' and 'tiktok', read 22 Oct 2026), turned into slapstick. The AI video version goes back to PixVerse's 'Leggy Run', one of eight effects launched with PixVerse V3 on 29 Oct 2024. AIPURE's review described it as objects that grow legs and run away, and noted that its test lemon looked more like an octopus. Leggy Run is still in PixVerse's list of 156 effects on fal, and Magic Hour sells a 'Leg Elongation' template where your legs stretch and you rise above the scene. People now search for 'leggy run AI' and 'leggy run AI video'. Ours is you, or your pet, and the joke is the run.
More silly-sized videos: City Giant makes all of you building-sized, Bobblehead Me puts your face on a huge wobbling head, and Ride a Giant Cat goes the other way and makes your pet enormous. Our Long Neck is the still-sticker sibling of this one.
Is the Long Legs Run trend still growing?
A steady effect, not a breaking trend. Leggy Run has been a PixVerse effect since October 2024, and on 22 Oct 2026 Google completed 'leggy run ai video' and Magic Hour's Leg Elongation showed 7 uses. People keep searching for long-leg filters too. It's a reliable laugh rather than this week's sound.
How to do the Long Legs Run trend: by hand or in one click
By hand: put your photo into the scene with an image model, regenerate until the face looks like you, give that still to an image-to-video model with the moves written out, then check the face holds to the last frame.
Here, in one click: add a photo for each person, see a free preview still of you in the scene, then make the 1080p video from it. You pay only when it’s ready.
Long Legs Run mixes
- You: Once the stretch starts, the legs grow to about twice their length, until the head is level with the first-floor windows. Their own trousers, skirt or shorts and shoes stay on in the same colour and pattern, and trousers stretch with the legs down to the shoes; the torso, arms and head keep their size. In the run the arms flail loosely
- Your pet: Once the stretch starts, only the four legs grow, long, thin and gangly under the same fur and ending in its own paws, until its head is above the roofs of the parked cars; its body, neck, head and tail keep their size and it stays on all fours. It runs in a loose, bouncing long-legged gallop, ears flapping

How many photos do I need for Long Legs Run?
One clear, front-facing photo per person (or pet). This template has room for 2. Add up to 3 photos of each for a closer likeness.
What happens to my photos?
They are stored privately, sent to the video model through short-lived links, never used for training, and deleted with your video after 30 days.
What is the long legs AI video?
A short AI video where your legs stretch to twice their length and you run off on them. PixVerse calls its version Leggy Run; people also search 'long legs AI video' and 'leggy run AI'.
How do I make the Leggy Run video with my photo?
1. Pick You or Your pet. 2. Add one clear photo with the face toward the camera (full length if you have one). 3. Check the free preview still of you on the pavement. 4. Make the 5-second video. No prompt to write.
Is it free?
The preview is free: add your photo and see the still in about a minute. The 5-second video is 100 credits ($6.99), in 1080p.
Does my whole body get taller?
No, only your legs. Your head, face, body and arms stay their normal size, which is what makes it funny. Your face stays toward the camera the whole way.
Can my dog or cat do it?
Yes: pick Your pet. Its four legs grow long and gangly under its own fur, it stays on all fours, and it gallops off down the pavement with its ears flapping, its head up above the roofs of the parked cars.
Do I need a full-length photo?
No, but it helps. With one, your own trousers, skirt or shorts and shoes stretch with your legs. From a head-and-shoulders photo we add plain everyday trousers and shoes.
Where does it happen?
On a wide city pavement on a sunny late morning, beside a row of small parked cars and two- and three-storey shopfronts with no brand names. The low camera makes the cars look small once your legs have grown, and it glides backwards as you run toward it.
Is this a slimming or 'model legs' filter?
No. It's slapstick: legs like stretched rubber and a wobbly run. If you want a still cartoon instead, try our Long Neck sticker.
Is there sound?
Yes: a rubbery stretch and big bouncy footsteps, with no music or speech. Add a song on TikTok, Reels or Shorts when you post.
Will it look like me?
That's the aim: your face comes from your photo and the camera keeps it about the same size as your legs grow. A clear, front-facing, evenly lit photo works best; every AI video varies a little, so watch yours before you post.
