What is the Korean Baseball Fan Cam AI trend?
The Korean baseball AI trend is a fake TV moment with you as the star. A broadcast camera drifts across a packed, floodlit ballpark, settles on one fan who's just watching the game, and holds on them until they realise they're on the big screen. People also call it the KBO AI trend, the stadium fan cam or simply the fan cam AI trend, and the same beat has since moved to football crowds, concerts and the kiss cam.
It started as a fake that fooled people. On 2 May 2026 X user @kangminlee posted a five-second AI clip captioned "The average Korean woman": a fan in the stands at a real KBO game, with no AI label. Baseball fans caught it from the scoreboard, which named a batter who had retired as a player in 2017 (Korea JoongAng Daily, 7 May 2026). Within a week people were making the same shot of themselves on purpose. On Instagram, an early self-insert from 10 May had 166K likes and an Akita in the crowd had 315K when we read them on 18 Oct. Template sites followed within days: Starrd now lists five camera-finds-you templates, from a plain fan cam to a World Cup crowd and a two-person kiss cam.
Here you add one photo. You get a free preview still of you in the stands in about a minute, then the 10-second video in 1080p for 100 credits ($9.90). Your face, hair, facial hair, glasses and clothes come from your photo. Add a second photo for the two-of-you version, or a photo of your dog or cat instead. Ours is a generic night game: no league, team, sponsor or broadcaster names, no scoreboard graphic and no real players, so it's a fan cam rather than a fake broadcast. The video comes with crowd noise and no commentary, so add a sound when you post.
Is the Korean Baseball Fan Cam trend still growing?
Archive on social, still searched, and the format keeps spawning. The Korean baseball wave peaked in the week of 10 May 2026 and searches have been under a tenth of that peak since mid-July (our Google Trends pull, read 16 Oct). New YouTube tutorials mostly stopped after 13 May. But on 18 Oct Google still completes "korean baseball ai" with trend, prompt, free, app, video and video generator, and "fan cam ai" with stadium, baseball, football and NBA versions, while template sites keep adding fan cams for new crowds. This is a catch-up page for people looking for the recipe, not a rising trend.
How to do the Korean Baseball Fan Cam trend: by hand or in one click
By hand: put your photo into the scene with an image model, regenerate until the face looks like you, give that still to an image-to-video model with the moves written out, then check the face holds to the last frame.
Here, in one click: add a photo for each person, see a free preview still of you in the scene, then make the 1080p video from it. You pay only when it’s ready.
Korean Baseball Fan Cam mixes
- You
- You two: The cam finds you two: both seated side by side in the same row, chest up, sharing the frame. The one on the right spots the camera first and nudges the other; at about 5 s both laugh, lean into a sideways hug and wave together. No kiss, no hiding from the camera, no dramatic reaction.
- Your pet: The pet sits alone on its own seat in the packed row, the whole animal from the photo, no clothes or jersey unless it wears them in the photo. It watches the field, turns to the lens at about 3 s, ears up, mouth open in a happy pant for a dog or a slow blink for a cat, while the fans either side cheer and point at it.
Photo tips for Korean Baseball Fan Cam
- One clear photo of you, face to the camera and well lit, from the chest up or closer.
- Wear what you'd wear to a game: your clothes from the photo come with you into the stands.
- Glasses stay if you wear them in the photo; take off sunglasses and hats so the camera can find your face.
- For the two-of-you version, add one photo per person, one person in each.
- For your pet, one sharp photo of the whole animal, sitting or standing, in good light.
Who to cast
- You (the classic)
- You and your best mate
- You and your partner
- Your dog or cat (an Akita did it first)

Creators put their photo into the scene with an image model, then animate it with an image-to-video model. This page does both for you from one photo: a free preview still first, then the video.
How many photos do I need for Korean Baseball Fan Cam?
One clear, front-facing photo per person (or pet). This template has room for 3. Add up to 3 photos of each for a closer likeness.
What happens to my photos?
They are stored privately, sent to the video model through short-lived links, never used for training, and deleted with your video after 30 days.
What is the Korean baseball AI trend?
A short AI clip that looks like a live TV shot of a night baseball game: the camera drifts across the stands, lands on one fan who's just watching, and holds until they realise they're on the big screen. In the trend, that fan is you, made from one photo. It's also called the KBO AI trend or the stadium fan cam.
Is there a free Korean baseball AI trend generator?
The preview is free here: add a photo and see a still of yourself in the stands in about a minute. The 10-second video is 100 credits ($9.90), in 1080p. We haven't tested other tools' free offers; ClipTrend's template charged 135 credits a run when we read it on 16 Oct 2026.
What's the Korean baseball AI trend prompt?
There's no official one. The shared prompts come in two parts: an image prompt for a candid, long-lens broadcast shot of you in the stands with your face unchanged, then a short motion prompt for a blink, a glance at the camera, a smile and a wave. Here you don't write either: you add a photo and the scene is built around you.
Which app is everyone using for the Korean baseball AI trend?
Several. An early TikTok on 9 May 2026 credited an AI video app, Kapwing published a guide on 13 May, YouTube tutorials use chatbot image tools and CapCut, and template sites such as ClipTrend and Starrd sell one-photo versions. We haven't tested them, so we don't rank them.
Who started the Korean baseball trend, and was the original real?
The earliest known post is @kangminlee's clip on X from 2 May 2026, "The average Korean woman" (Know Your Meme). It wasn't real: fans noticed the scoreboard named a batter who had retired as a player in 2017, and an X community note labelled the woman as AI (Korea JoongAng Daily, 7 May 2026). The self-insert version began a week later.
Can I do the Korean baseball fan cam with my dog or cat?
Yes. Pick the pet version and add one clear photo of your dog or cat: the whole animal comes from your photo and gets its own seat between cheering fans, then turns to the camera. It's the version @akita_hooligan's Akita made famous on 10 May 2026.
Can I do it with my partner or a friend? Is it the kiss cam trend?
You can do it as two: add one photo of each of you, and the camera finds you side by side, you laugh, lean into a sideways hug and wave. There's no kiss, and it isn't a re-enactment of the 2025 concert kiss-cam clip. Only use photos of people who've said yes.
Will my video have the KBO scoreboard and team jerseys?
No. Ours is a generic floodlit night game with no league, team, sponsor or broadcaster names, no score graphic and no real players. You wear the clothes from your photo, so pick the outfit you want to be seen in.
What photo works best for the Korean baseball AI trend?
One clear, well-lit photo of you facing the camera, chest up or closer, with nobody else in it and no sunglasses or cap. The scene sits you down in the stands, so a standing photo is fine. For the two-of-you version, one photo per person.
How long is the video, and does it have sound?
Ten seconds, vertical, in 1080p: long enough for the camera to find you, the freeze and the wave. The original clip on X ran five seconds. Yours comes with crowd noise and no commentary or music, so add a sound in the app when you post.
Is the Korean baseball trend over?
Mostly, on social: it peaked in the week of 10 May 2026 and searches have been under a tenth of that since mid-July. But Google still completes "korean baseball ai" with prompt, free, app and video generator on 18 Oct, and template sites keep adding fan cams for football, concerts and the kiss cam.
What song is in the Korean baseball trend?
There isn't one shared song. The TikTok examples Know Your Meme collected each use a different original sound, so pick your own when you post.
