What is the Lion King Lift AI trend?
Lion King Lift is a 10-second vertical AI video of your pet being held up to the sky from the tip of a jutting rock at sunrise, the way the newborn cub is presented to the animals at the start of The Lion King. Add one photo of your cat, dog or other small pet and you get a free preview still in about a minute: your pet held at the tip of the rock, golden haze over the savanna and herds of zebras, giraffes and elephants gathered far below. Then make the video for 100 credits ($6.99): two hands lift your pet slowly on straight arms, the clouds part, a beam of sunlight lands on it, an elephant raises its trunk and the birds rise from the acacia tree.

It's a photoreal recreation in the style of the scene, not a clip from the film. There are no cartoon characters and no lions: your pet stays your pet, with its own breed, coat, markings, ears and eyes. In the pet version, only the two forearms holding it are in shot, so it's all about your pet. Pick You + your pet instead and add a photo of you too: you stand on the rock with your pet against your chest, lift it high over your head, look up at it and then turn back to the camera, beaming. Your face, hair, facial hair and glasses come from your photo, and you keep your own clothes.
People have been doing this pose with real pets for decades. Baseball teams run a "Simba Cam" on their dog days, when fans hold their dogs up for the big screen (the Milwaukee Brewers in July 2019, the Seattle Mariners in August 2022). Lifting a wriggly cat at sunrise on a cliff is harder, which is what this is for. When we checked the AI remake sites on 24-25 Oct 2026, none sold a video template of this scene, so this is one of the first. It's an AI recreation and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Disney.

Is the Lion King Lift trend still growing?
Evergreen, not a wave. The presentation scene is one of the most copied poses in film, and people have done it with real dogs at ballparks since at least 2019. As of 25 Oct 2026 we found no AI video template of it on the remake sites, so this is early, and it rides on the movie-scene and pet-video searches rather than a TikTok wave.
How to do the Lion King Lift trend: by hand or in one click
By hand: put your photo into the scene with an image model, regenerate until the face looks like you, give that still to an image-to-video model with the moves written out, then check the face holds to the last frame.
Here, in one click: add a photo for each person, see a free preview still of you in the scene, then make the video from it. You pay only when it’s ready.
Lion King Lift mixes
- Your pet: Pet version: the pet is the only star; of whoever holds it, only two bare forearms and hands show, always entering from the bottom edge of the frame. They lift it straight up to arm's length, and the camera tilts up slowly with it, keeping it in the upper middle of the frame. Its body angles out over the plain, its face three-quarters to the camera, paws hanging relaxed, ears up
- You + your pet: one adult and their pet, nobody else; the camera holds steady, slowly pushing in, the person's face and the raised pet both in frame. The person lifts the pet from their chest straight up overhead to arm's length, looks up at it with chin level, then turns their face back to the camera, beaming, the pet still held high, face to the camera
Photo tips for Lion King Lift
- For your pet: one sharp photo with its whole body and face in view, front-on, in good light. Its own coat, markings, ears and eyes come from it.
- Small and medium pets look best held up: cats, small dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs. A big dog works too; it just looks heavier in your arms.
- For You + your pet: add one clear, front-facing photo of you (waist up is ideal), then your pet's. Your face, hair, facial hair and glasses come from it, and you keep your own clothes.
- Pick a photo where you're smiling: you start with your photo's expression.
- No hat or sunglasses on you; glasses you normally wear stay.
- Adults only: use your own photo, or one of an adult who said yes. No babies or children, even though the film scene has a newborn cub.
Who to cast
- Your cat, who already acts like the ruler of everything
- Your small dog, held up like the heir to the kingdom
- You and your pet, for the proud-owner version
- A rabbit, guinea pig or ferret, for the smallest heir on the savanna
- The friend whose dog goes everywhere with them

You can preview yourself in the Lion King Lift scene free. The full video costs 100 credits, charged only when it's ready. Credits come in packs from $6.99 for 100 and work on any trend.
Which app makes the Lion King Lift AI video?
Creators put their photo into the scene with an image model, then animate it with an image-to-video model. This page does both for you from one photo: a free preview still first, then the video.
How many photos do I need for Lion King Lift?
One clear, front-facing photo per person (or pet). This template has room for 2. Add up to 3 photos of each for a closer likeness.
What happens to my photos?
They are stored privately, sent to the video model through short-lived links, never used for training, and deleted with your video after 30 days.
How do I make the Lion King lift with my pet?
1. Pick Your pet, or You + your pet. 2. Add one sharp photo of your pet (and one clear, front-facing photo of you for the duo version). 3. Check the free preview still: your pet at the tip of the rock at sunrise. 4. Make the 10-second video: the slow lift, the beam of sunlight and the herds looking up. No prompt to write and no filming.
How much does it cost?
The preview still is free. The video is 100 credits ($6.99), vertical 9:16, ready for TikTok, Reels, Shorts or a WhatsApp status.
Is this the real scene from the film?
No. It's a new, photoreal AI video in the style of the scene: a rock over the savanna at sunrise, with real-looking zebras, giraffes and elephants. There are no cartoon characters, no lions and no footage from the film, and your pet keeps its own look. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Disney.
Who holds my pet up?
In the pet version, two hands and forearms reach up from below the frame and lift it, so your pet is the only star. In You + your pet, you do the lifting: you hold your pet to your chest, raise it high over your head, look up at it and then turn back to the camera.
Does it work with cats, rabbits or big dogs?
Yes. Cats and small dogs look the most like the scene, and rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets work well too. A big dog works, it just looks like a lot of dog to hold up. Use a sharp photo with the whole animal in view.
Can I do it with my baby?
No. Lion King Lift is for pets, and for adults holding their pets. We don't make videos of babies or children, and the site won't use photos that look under 18.
Does it have the song?
No. The video has wind over the grass, birds, a distant elephant and a swelling drum, with no voices. Add the song or your own sound in TikTok, Instagram or CapCut when you post.
Should I try the lift with my real pet?
Only if your pet is calm and small enough to hold safely. Many pets don't like being lifted high, and a nervous or heavy animal can wriggle free. That's half the point of making it with AI: your pet stays on the sofa.
Will it look like my pet?
Its coat colours, markings, face, ears and eyes come from your photo, so a sharp, well-lit photo with the whole animal in view works best. The free preview still shows you exactly how it looks before you pay.
