What is the Soap Kitten AI trend?
The soap kitten is an AI meme with a very simple joke. Someone holds a hand under an ordinary pump soap dispenser, presses the pump, and instead of a squirt of foam a tiny, fluffy kitten climbs out of the suds in their palm, looks at the camera and lifts a paw, as if saying hello or flashing a peace sign. People search for it as the cat coming out of the soap dispenser, the AI cat coming out of the soap dispenser, or the soap dispenser cat meme, and Google completes all three. On this page your own cat, dog or other pet is the one in the soap: shrunk to the size of a small kitten, with its own face, coat, markings and eye colour, wriggling out of a mound of white foam in one cupped hand.
The earliest version we can date is a Spanish-language YouTube Short called 'Este Gato Salió Del Dispensador De Jabón' ('This cat came out of the soap dispenser'), posted by the channel El Chico Estrella on 26 November 2025. Its caption tells it as a little story: a man brings his hand to wash it and a very sweet kitten pops out and signals with its paws. When we read it on 18 October 2026 it had 6,085,526 views and 172,238 likes. By the first days of January 2026 short loops of the same idea were circulating as reaction GIFs on Tenor, tagged 'ai cat', 'peace sign' and 'soap dispenser', one of them a 12-second clip whose Tenor description mentions a creator's handle we could not trace. We could not find a news story or a meme-database entry that names the first maker, so we call the original creator unclear rather than guess.
By October 2026 the remake site ClipTrend listed a Soap Kitten template, built around that Short and its 6.1 million views. On Jump on the Trend you add one photo of your pet. We put the whole animal into the soap foam and show you that still as a free preview in about a minute. If you like it, the 10-second vertical video costs 100 credits ($9.90) and comes in 1080p, with the squelch of the pump, the fizz of the foam and one small sound from your pet, and no music, so you can add a sound in TikTok when you post. It's a new video made from your photo, not a copy of anyone's clip, and nobody's real pet goes anywhere near a soap dispenser.
Is the Soap Kitten trend still growing?
A slow-burning AI pet meme rather than a fresh wave: the Short we can date to 26 Nov 2025 had about 6.09 million views on 18 Oct 2026, reaction GIFs of it date from early January 2026, and only one remake site (ClipTrend) sold a template for it in mid-October. Google completes 'cat coming out of soap dispenser' and 'ai cat coming out of soap dispenser', not yet 'soap kitten ai'.
How to do the Soap Kitten trend: by hand or in one click
By hand: put your photo into the scene with an image model, regenerate until the face looks like you, give that still to an image-to-video model with the moves written out, then check the face holds to the last frame.
Here, in one click: add a photo for each person, see a free preview still of you in the scene, then make the 1080p video from it. You pay only when it’s ready.
Soap Kitten mixes
- Out of the soap
- Pink foam: The soap and its foam are a soft pastel pink instead of white, and the dispenser is pale pink; the pet's own coat colours stay exactly as in the photo, with only a few pink flecks of foam on its fur. Nothing else about the scene or the motion changes.
Photo tips for Soap Kitten
- One sharp, well-lit photo of a single pet, face towards the camera
- Ears and front paws in view help: those are what pop out of the foam first
- Daylight beats flash; skip heavy filters and blurry action shots
- Fluffy and short-haired pets both work: the coat comes from your photo
- No other animals or people in the photo
Who to cast
- Your cat (the originals are fluffy kittens)
- Your dog, as a palm-sized puppy-sized version of itself
- A rabbit, hamster or any pet with a clear face photo
Soap Kitten FAQ
Is there a free Soap Kitten AI video generator?
You can preview yourself in the Soap Kitten scene free. The full 1080p video costs 100 credits, charged only when it's ready. Credits come in packs from $9.90 for 100 and work on any trend.
Which app makes the Soap Kitten AI video?
Creators put their photo into the scene with an image model, then animate it with an image-to-video model. This page does both for you from one photo: a free preview still first, then the video.
How many photos do I need for Soap Kitten?
One clear, front-facing photo per person (or pet). This template has room for 1. Add up to 3 photos of each for a closer likeness.
What happens to my photos?
They are stored privately, sent to the video model through short-lived links, never used for training, and deleted with your video after 30 days.
What is the soap kitten meme?
An AI clip in which someone pumps a soap dispenser over their hand and a tiny kitten climbs out of the foam instead of soap, then looks at the camera and lifts a paw. It's searched as the cat coming out of the soap dispenser or the soap dispenser cat meme, and it's used as a cute reaction clip and a little surprise video.
Is the cat coming out of the soap dispenser real?
No. No real kitten fits in a soap pump, and no real cat was washed for it: the clips are AI-made, and so is your version. On this page the pet comes from your photo and only ever climbs out of the foam; it is never scrubbed or rinsed.
Where did the soap dispenser cat come from?
The earliest version we can date is the YouTube Short 'Este Gato Salió Del Dispensador De Jabón' by El Chico Estrella, posted on 26 November 2025, with about 6.09 million views when we read it on 18 October 2026. Reaction GIFs of the joke were on Tenor by 2 January 2026. Who made the very first one is unclear.
Is there a free soap kitten AI generator?
The preview is free: add a photo of your pet and you see a still of it in the soap foam in about a minute. The 10-second video is 100 credits ($9.90), in 1080p. If the preview doesn't look like your pet, you can stop there and pay nothing.
How do I make my cat come out of the soap dispenser?
Add one sharp photo of your cat, check the free preview, then make the video. There's no prompt to write: the sink, the dispenser, the hand, the foam and the wave are already set. Your cat's breed, coat, markings and eye colour come from the photo, and it's shrunk to fit in the palm.
Can I do it with my dog?
Yes. It works for dogs, rabbits and most pets with a clear face photo: the animal is shrunk to kitten size and climbs out of the suds the same way. Dogs' raised paws are the trickiest part, so look closely at the paw in your preview and the video before you post.
Will it still look like my pet?
Yes. The whole animal comes from your photo, with its own face, ears, coat colour, markings and eye colour; only its size changes. It keeps real furry paws and its own tail, and it stays a solid animal rather than turning into foam.
What photo works best?
One sharp, well-lit photo of one pet, facing the camera, with its ears and front paws in view, since those come out of the foam first. A curled-up sleeper or a blurry action shot gives too little to work from. More tips: /guides/best-photo-for-ai-face-swap/.
How long is the video, and does it have sound?
Ten seconds, vertical 9:16, 1080p, close to the 12-second original. It comes with the squelch of the pump, the fizz of the foam, a quiet bathroom echo and one small sound from your pet; no music and no voices. Add a song in TikTok when you post if you want one.
Whose hand is in the video?
Nobody's in particular: an anonymous hand, seen from the wrist down, holds the foam. Your pet is the only one cast from a photo, and no face or person appears in the frame.
Can the foam be pink?
Yes. Pick the Pink foam option and the soap and dispenser turn pastel pink while your pet keeps its own coat colours. Everything else about the clip stays the same.
Is it the same as the cake kitten?
They're cousins. In Cake Kitten your pet climbs out of whipped cream on a sponge cake; here it pops out of the soap in someone's hand at a bathroom sink. Both end with a little wave, and both start from one photo of your pet.
