What is the AI King AI trend?
The AI king video is a five-second coronation from one photo. You sit on a tall gold throne at the end of a candlelit stone hall in a red velvet robe, lift a jewelled crown from your lap, set it on your own head, then rest your hands on the armrests and give the camera a slow, royal look. Add a photo, get a free preview still of yourself on the throne in about a minute, then make the video in 1080p for 100 credits ($9.90). Pick King, Queen (a velvet gown and a slender pearl crown) or Your pet, where your cat or dog sits on the velvet cushion in a tiny crown and cape and stares down the lens.
There's no single viral post behind it. Royal selfie edits spread as AI photo prompts in 2025: on 16 Sep 2025 Analytics Vidhya published prompts for turning a selfie or family photo into a Maharaja- or Maharani-style royal portrait with Google's Gemini app, and on 18 Oct 2026 Google completes "ai trending king queen photo editing" and "king queen ai filter". Video effect sites then sold the moving version. When we read them on 18 Oct 2026, BudgetPixel listed a five-second 'Throne of King' effect made from one image, MagicShot a Queen/King effect that adds a crown, robes and a throne-room glow to a selfie clip (the Internet Archive first saved its page on 31 Aug 2026), Magic Hour a 4.8-second 'King Sitting On Throne' face swap with 9 uses, and Morphic a royal pet effect with capes, crowns and throne rooms. The pet version turns up as small YouTube Shorts with titles like 'The Dog That Became King' and 'Every Pet Deserves A Throne', not as one big viral hit.
Ours is generic royalty. The throne, the hall and the crown are our own design, not any real palace, crown jewels or royal family, and there are no crests, flags or words anywhere in the frame. Your face, hair, facial hair and glasses come from your photo, and the crown sits on top of your own hair with your face in view the whole time. The video comes with candle crackle, rustling velvet, an echoing hall and a short distant fanfare as the crown lands, and no voices; add a sound when you post. For another glamorous one, try Airport Celebrity; for your pet in armour instead of a crown, Knight Cat.
Is the AI King trend still growing?
An evergreen effect, not a breaking wave. We found no single viral post: the royal photo edit spread with AI image prompts from 2025, the video version is sold as a one-photo effect on at least four sites as of 18 Oct 2026, and the royal pet Shorts we found are small posts, not a viral wave. Searches people do type on 18 Oct 2026 include "ai king photo", "king queen ai filter", "ai trending king queen photo editing" (Google) and "king ai video generator" (YouTube).
How to do the AI King trend: by hand or in one click
By hand: put your photo into the scene with an image model, regenerate until the face looks like you, give that still to an image-to-video model with the moves written out, then check the face holds to the last frame.
Here, in one click: add a photo for each person, see a free preview still of you in the scene, then make the 1080p video from it. You pay only when it’s ready.
AI King mixes
- King: A king's version: a red velvet robe with a wide white fur-trimmed collar over a gold-embroidered dark tunic, and a heavy gold crown set with red and green stones.
- Queen: A queen's version: the person wears a floor-length deep red velvet gown with gold embroidery down the bodice and a red velvet cape with a white fur-trimmed collar, and the crown in their lap is a slender gold crown with tall points set with pearls and red stones. No veil, hood or mask; everything else stays the same.
- Your pet: The pet alone, no person anywhere; the crown is already on its head, so instead of the crowning: 0-2 s it gazes off to one side as the camera pushes in, 2-3.5 s it turns its head to the lens and lifts its chin, 3.5-5 s a level, unimpressed royal stare with one slow blink as the candlelight swells.
Photo tips for AI King
- One sharp, front-facing photo of you, chest up or closer, in good light.
- Take off hats and sunglasses: the crown goes on top of your own hair. Your glasses stay if you wear them.
- You'll be dressed in the robe or gown, so any clothes are fine.
- One adult per photo: yours, or someone who said yes. Pets: the whole animal in view, facing the camera.
Who to cast
- You (the classic)
- The friend who acts like they run the group chat
- Your partner, with their yes, as king or queen
- Your cat, who already thinks it's royalty

Which app makes the AI King AI video?
Creators put their photo into the scene with an image model, then animate it with an image-to-video model. This page does both for you from one photo: a free preview still first, then the video.
How many photos do I need for AI King?
One clear, front-facing photo per person (or pet). This template has room for 2. Add up to 3 photos of each for a closer likeness.
What happens to my photos?
They are stored privately, sent to the video model through short-lived links, never used for training, and deleted with your video after 30 days.
What is the AI king video?
A five-second clip made from one photo: you sit on a gold throne in a candlelit hall, set a jewelled crown on your own head and look into the camera like royalty. You can be a king or a queen, or crown your pet instead.
Is the AI king video free?
The preview is free: add a photo and see a still of yourself on the throne in about a minute. The 5-second video is 100 credits ($9.90), in 1080p.
Can I be a queen instead?
Yes. Pick Queen and you wear a deep red velvet gown and cape with a slender gold crown set with pearls. The throne, the hall and the crowning moment are the same.
Can I crown my cat or dog?
Yes, pick Your pet. Your cat or dog sits on the throne's velvet cushion in a tiny gold crown and a little velvet cape, turns to the camera, lifts its chin and gives a slow, unimpressed blink. The whole animal comes from your photo.
Will the crown cover my face or hair?
No. The crown sits on top of your head, and your face, hairline and the sides of your hair stay in view the whole time. Take off any hat in your photo so the crown goes on your own hair.
Is it a real palace or real crown?
No. The hall, the throne and the crown are our own generic design. There are no real crown jewels, coats of arms, flags or palaces in it, and it's never a real king or queen's face: it's yours.
What sound does it have?
Candle crackle, rustling velvet, an echoing hall and a short, distant fanfare as the crown lands, with no voices. Add any sound you like in TikTok, Reels or Shorts when you post.
How long is the video?
5 seconds, vertical for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. The other king effects we read run about 5 seconds too (BudgetPixel's is about 5, Magic Hour's 4.8).
What photo works best?
One sharp, front-facing photo of you, chest up, in good light, with no hat or sunglasses. Your clothes don't matter, since you're dressed in the robe or gown. More in our photo guide.
Is my photo kept?
For 30 days, then it's deleted automatically, and it's never used to train AI. Delete my data removes it sooner; the details are in our safety guide.
