What is the Pet Street Interview AI trend?
Pet Street Interview is a 10-second AI video in which a street reporter stops your dog or cat on the pavement and holds a fluffy microphone down to it. Your pet hears the question, tilts its head as if it's thinking hard, then leans into the mic and answers in a funny, confident voice, its mouth moving in time with the words. It finishes by looking straight into the camera and lifting a paw, as if it has just said something very important. Add one photo of your pet and you get a free preview still of it on the street with the mic in front of it in about a minute; the video is 100 credits ($6.99), in 1080p.

It's a template, not a single viral moment, and we'd rather say that plainly. Several AI video sites sell a pet interview. When we read them on 19 Oct 2026, Hailuo's 24K Pet Interview template showed 2,888 uses and 303 likes on a card created on 28 Sep 2025. Pollo AI's Pet Interview effect has a reporter crouch beside the pet with a mic before the camera zooms in for a thumbs-up. Morphic's AI pet interview page shows studio set-ups and a sidewalk vox-pop with a hand-held mic, and Media.io's AI Pet Interview Generator offers preset questions about bath time and treats. Hailuo's own pet page also has a far bigger Animal Podcast template (18,041 uses), which is the sit-down radio version; our take on that one is Pet Podcast.
Ours is the street version: outdoors, handheld, at your pet's eye level, the way a real vox-pop is filmed. The reporter is a generic adult you only ever see from behind or the side (a sleeve, a hand, a blurred shoulder), so the whole clip is about your pet. There's no news-channel logo, caption or mic flag, and your pet stays your pet: its own breed, coat, markings and face come from your photo. On Google, "pet interview ai" completes to "dog interview ai", "dog interview ai video", "animal interview ai" and "ai pet interview generator" (read 19 Oct 2026), which are the searches this page answers.
Is the Pet Street Interview trend still growing?
Evergreen, not breaking. On 19 Oct 2026 at least four AI video sites sell a pet interview template; the one public use count we found is Hailuo's 2,888, on a card dated 28 Sep 2025. We found no viral origin post or news coverage, so expect steady interest from pet owners rather than a peak.
How to do the Pet Street Interview trend: by hand or in one click
By hand: put your photo into the scene with an image model, regenerate until the face looks like you, give that still to an image-to-video model with the moves written out, then check the face holds to the last frame.
Here, in one click: add a photo for each person, see a free preview still of you in the scene, then make the 1080p video from it. You pay only when it’s ready.
Photo tips for Pet Street Interview
- One sharp photo of your pet's face, looking at the camera or just off to one side, with both eyes visible: the mic sits right in front of its mouth, so the face has to be clear.
- Daylight or bright indoor light works best; avoid heavy shadows across the muzzle.
- One animal per photo. The whole animal comes from your photo, so its coat, markings and collar are what you'll see.
- Dogs and cats work best; rabbits and other furry pets can work too.
Who to cast
- Your dog, the one with opinions on bath time
- Your cat, who has clearly been waiting to be asked
- The family pet, for the group chat
- A friend's pet, with their yes, as a birthday surprise
Pet Street Interview FAQ
Is there a free Pet Street Interview AI video generator?
You can preview yourself in the Pet Street Interview scene free. The full 1080p video costs 100 credits, charged only when it's ready. Credits come in packs from $6.99 for 100 and work on any trend.
Which app makes the Pet Street Interview AI video?
Creators put their photo into the scene with an image model, then animate it with an image-to-video model. This page does both for you from one photo: a free preview still first, then the video.
How many photos do I need for Pet Street Interview?
One clear, front-facing photo per person (or pet). This template has room for 1. Add up to 3 photos of each for a closer likeness.
What happens to my photos?
They are stored privately, sent to the video model through short-lived links, never used for training, and deleted with your video after 30 days.
What is the AI pet interview video?
A short AI video where your dog or cat is interviewed like a person on the street: a reporter holds a microphone to it and it answers in a funny voice, mouth moving in time with the words. Ours is made from one photo of your pet and runs 10 seconds.
Is it free?
The preview is free: add a photo and see a still of your pet on the street with the microphone in front of it, in about a minute. The 10-second video is 100 credits ($6.99), in 1080p.
How do I make my dog talk in an interview video?
1. Add one clear photo of your dog's face, both eyes visible. 2. Check the free preview: your dog on the pavement with a reporter's mic in front of it. 3. Make the video. There's no script to write and no editing app: the question, the head tilt, the answer, the voice and the street sound are built in. 4. Post it on TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
Does it work with cats?
Yes. Cats work as well as dogs, and rabbits and other furry pets can work too. The whole animal comes from your photo, so its coat, markings and face are its own.
What happens in the 10 seconds?
First two seconds: the reporter's hand nudges the mic closer as a voice off camera asks a question. Then your pet tilts its head and thinks about it. From about 3.5 seconds it leans in and answers in a funny voice, mouth moving with the words, as the camera eases in. In the last two seconds it looks straight into the camera and lifts a paw. It's one continuous handheld shot with its own sound.
What does my pet say? Can I write the question?
Not yet: the question and the answer are generated with the video, so each take says something different. It's a short, funny, confident answer rather than a script you type. If you want specific words, add a voiceover or captions in the app you post to.
Who is the reporter?
Nobody in particular: a generic adult you only see from behind or the side, as a sleeve, a hand holding the mic and a blurred shoulder. There's no face, no name and no news-channel logo, so the whole clip is about your pet.
How is it different from Pet Podcast?
Pet Podcast sits your pet at a studio desk in headphones, hosting its own show and laughing at its own joke. Pet Street Interview takes it outside: a reporter stops it on the pavement, holds out a fluffy handheld mic, and it gives a quick answer to camera. Different set, different joke.
Can I be the reporter, or put two pets in it?
Not in this one: it's one pet, and the reporter stays a faceless hand and shoulder. For two pets together, Pet Podcast has a two-pet co-host mode.
Will it still look like my pet?
That's the aim: breed, coat colour, markings and face come from your photo and stay through the answer. The free preview shows your pet before you pay, and every take is new, so watch yours before you post it.
Is pet interview a big TikTok trend?
As a template, yes, but not a single trend we can point to. On 19 Oct 2026 at least four AI video sites sell one; the only public count we found is Hailuo's 2,888 uses for its 24K Pet Interview. We'd rather tell you that than guess at view counts.
