What is the Singing Pet AI trend?

The singing dog AI trend is a 10-second clip of a pet giving a bath-time concert: your dog or cat stands up in an empty bathtub in a white towel, holds a hair dryer to its mouth like a microphone, shuts its eyes and belts out one huge operatic note while the warm air ruffles its damp fur. Here you add one photo of your pet, get a free preview still of it in the bath in about a minute, then the 10-second video in 1080p for 100 credits ($9.90). Posts are tagged #dogblowdry, #singingdogtrend and #petsingingtrend, by MakeViral's account, and cats do it too.

It's days old. MakeViral, a template site that tracks these, traces it to a phone app's AI template called "Singing Pets" and dates the first post to 14 Oct 2026: a UK owner's Rottweiler, Charlie, in a towel with the dryer held high, which it counted at 51,700 views and 2,500 shares. A grey dog called Oakley followed on 15 Oct (38,100 views by MakeViral's count), then a boxer, a goldendoodle and an orange cat on 16 Oct. By 17 Oct MakeViral counted 121 videos on the trend's sound and 122 under #dogblowdry. Every post uses the same big operatic voice, MakeViral says. The joke underneath is older: MakeViral dates AI "shower concert" clips of dogs singing in the shower to December 2025, among them a chihuahua's that it counts at 4.2 million views. What the template brings is the bath-time kit, the towel, the dryer and the brush. Media.io sells a different take, pets singing along in a car, on a page its own data dates to 29 Sep 2026.

Ours is the bath-time one. Your pet comes from your photo, the whole animal, with its own breed, face, coat colours and markings; the scene is set: white tiles, an empty white bathtub, a white towel, a black dryer and a blue brush, one close shot from the towel up. Over ten seconds it squints into the warm air, sings with its eyes shut and its head back, brushes the top of its head mid-note, sings into the dryer again and ends facing you, front legs flung wide, on the last long note. The video has no sound, so add the trend's sound or your own song in TikTok when you post (how sounds work on TikTok, Reels and Shorts). The mouth moves like singing but isn't synced to any words. For a pet singing a real viral song, see I Wanna Love You, the suited cat singing Akon in a night selfie; for a pet that dances instead, AI Pet Dance.

Is the Singing Pet trend still growing?

Brand new and small, on top of an evergreen search. The bath-time template's first post is from 14 Oct 2026, so the wave is four days old: 121 videos on its sound by 17 Oct, by MakeViral's count, and our radar scores it 1.0 on 18 Oct. Google doesn't finish "singing dog trend" yet. What people do search is the broad version, "singing dog ai", "dog singing ai video", "singing cat ai" and "make my dog sing ai", and the joke under it is older: MakeViral dates the AI shower-concert clips of singing dogs to December 2025.

How to do the Singing Pet trend: by hand or in one click

By hand: put your photo into the scene with an image model, regenerate until the face looks like you, give that still to an image-to-video model with the moves written out, then check the face holds to the last frame.

Here, in one click: add a photo for each person, see a free preview still of you in the scene, then make the 1080p video from it. You pay only when it’s ready.

Photo tips for Singing Pet

  • One sharp photo of one pet, face to the camera, in good light: the clip is a close shot from the chest up, so the face matters most.
  • Show the chest and front legs if you can: they're in shot the whole time, holding the dryer and brush, so their colours and markings should be in the photo.
  • A dry, fluffy photo shows the real coat best; the scene makes your pet look freshly washed.
  • No other animals or people in the photo, and no costumes or heavy filters.

Who to cast

  • Your dog (a Rottweiler was the first)
  • Your cat
  • The pet who howls along whenever you sing
  • Any pet that hates bath time

Singing Pet FAQ

Is there a free Singing Pet AI video generator?

You can preview yourself in the Singing Pet scene free. The full 1080p video costs 100 credits, charged only when it's ready. Credits come in packs from $9.90 for 100 and work on any trend.

Which app makes the Singing Pet AI video?

Creators put their photo into the scene with an image model, then animate it with an image-to-video model. This page does both for you from one photo: a free preview still first, then the video.

How many photos do I need for Singing Pet?

One clear, front-facing photo per person (or pet). This template has room for 1. Add up to 3 photos of each for a closer likeness.

What happens to my photos?

They are stored privately, sent to the video model through short-lived links, never used for training, and deleted with your video after 30 days.

What is the singing dog AI trend?

An AI clip, made from one pet photo, of a dog or cat standing in the bath in a towel and singing a huge, operatic note into a hair dryer it holds like a microphone. MakeViral dates its first TikTok post to 14 Oct 2026; posts are tagged #dogblowdry and #petsingingtrend.

How do I make my dog sing with AI?

Add one clear photo of your dog, check the free preview still of it in the bath, then make the 10-second video. There's no prompt to write and no editing: the scene and the singing are set, and your dog's breed, coat and markings come from the photo.

Is there a free singing pet AI?

The preview is free here: add a photo and see a still of your pet in the bath, dryer in paw, in about a minute. The video is 100 credits ($9.90), in 1080p.

Can I make my cat sing?

Yes. Cats work the same way: an orange cat joined on 16 Oct 2026, two days in, by MakeViral's account. Use a sharp, front-facing photo with both eyes and ears in view, because the clip is a close shot and the face matters most.

What song does the dog sing in the trend?

Every post uses the same sound, a big operatic voice that came with the app template, by MakeViral's account; it doesn't name the song. Our video is silent, so in TikTok use the trend's sound from any of its posts, or pick your own song.

Can my dog sing Happy Birthday?

Not in sync. Add Happy Birthday as the sound when you post and your dog will look like it's belting it out, but the mouth moves like singing, not to the words. Lip-sync apps that make a pet photo mouth a chosen audio are a different thing.

How long is the video?

10 seconds, vertical 9:16, in 1080p, the length of the two original reels MakeViral shows: a breath, a big note, a quick brush, more singing and the wide-armed finale.

Is it the CapCut Singing Pets template?

No, it's our own version of the same bath-time scene, made from one photo with no app template or editing. MakeViral traces the trend to that template, first posted on 14 Oct 2026.

Is it the same as the I Wanna Love You singing cat?

No. I Wanna Love You copies one viral clip, a cat in a corduroy suit singing Akon in a night selfie, with its sound. This is a bath-time concert in a towel, with no sound, so you add the song.

Can I put two pets in it?

Not this one: one pet per video, alone in the bath. For two pets, see the AI pet trends page.

What photo works best?

One sharp photo of one pet facing the camera in good light, with its chest and front legs in view, since they're in shot holding the dryer. A dry, fluffy photo shows the real coat best; the scene makes it look freshly washed.

Is the video real?

No, it's an AI video made from your photo. No real hair dryer goes anywhere near your pet, and it never needs a bath. Please don't try to film it for real: a hair dryer has no place near water or a pet in the bath.

Is my photo kept?

For 30 days, then it's deleted automatically, and it's never used to train AI. You can delete it sooner with Delete my data; the details are in our safety guide.
