How to do it: Add a clear selfie on this page, see yourself in it free, then make the 10-second video. No app, no prompt.

The dance is older than the song. The Atlanta-based dancer and influencer Toosie (Vice, 2020) posted a clip of the dance challenge on 29 March 2020; he, the dancer Hiii Key and the Michigan duo Ayo & Teo took it to TikTok, and the challenge was spreading before the song was even out (Wikipedia, read 24 Oct 2026). Drake released "Toosie Slide", named after the dancer, on 3 April 2020, with a video of him doing the steps at home in Toronto during lockdown, and it entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number one. Six and a half years later the dance is back as an AI trend: according to MakeViral's page on it (read 24 Oct 2026), an AI clip of a TV character doing the slide in a mansion went round Instagram on 23 October 2026, two AI video sites added Toosie Slide templates the same day, and #toosieslide stood at 619,882 TikTok videos and 6.93 billion views on 24 October.
Our version keeps what makes it the Toosie Slide in one second: the back-slide on alternating feet, the criss-cross with the arms swinging wide, the quick dip and the glide to the phone. The setting is a quiet hotel hallway, like the one in a popular 2020 version with millions of views, not a recreation of anyone's music video, and you wear a plain grey hoodie, black joggers and white trainers (or pick your own clothes from the photo). Your face, hair, facial hair and glasses come from your photo, with the expression you have in it. Pick You and a friend to slide side by side in sync, or Your dog or cat for your pet up on its hind legs doing the steps, the whole animal as it is in the photo.
If you want a different old-school dance, C-Walk Dance is all fast footwork on a sunny street, Dodge Step Dance is another quick side-to-side step, Shuffle Dance is the running-man shuffle, and Wipe Me Down is another dance with a song's name.
The song and the original
"Toosie Slide" (2020) is Drake's song, produced by OZ and named after the dancer Toosie. It was built around the dance: the verses teach the steps, and between them Drake talks about the pressure he's under, shouts out his friends, flirts and promises a summer of music (Wikipedia, read 24 Oct 2026). We don't quote the words. Our video is silent: add the sound in TikTok, Instagram or whichever app you post to.
Is the Toosie Slide trend still growing?
Early. The dance itself is a 2020 classic with billions of hashtag views, but the AI wave only started on 23 Oct 2026, and on 24 Oct Google had no completions yet for 'toosie slide ai' (MakeViral and Google autocomplete, both read 24 Oct 2026). A good week to be one of the first AI versions in the feed.
How to do the Toosie Slide trend: by hand or in one click
By hand: put your photo into the scene with an image model, regenerate until the face looks like you, give that still to an image-to-video model with the moves written out, then check the face holds to the last frame.
Here, in one click: add a photo for each person, see a free preview still of you in the scene, then make the video from it. You pay only when it’s ready.
Toosie Slide mixes
- You: Person version: one adult at full adult height with their own bare human hands, open and relaxed, arms swinging easily with the steps
- You and a friend: Duo version: two adults side by side, the first on the left and the second on the right, an arm's length apart, both head to toe in frame the whole clip, doing the same steps in perfect sync and ending in the same pose. Exactly two dancers, never blended
- Your dog or cat: Pet version, no person anywhere: the whole animal at its own size, up on its hind legs for the whole dance, with paws, never hands, and no clothes beyond a plain collar; its knee lifts and back-slides are scaled to an animal, front paws swinging loosely

What are the Toosie Slide steps?
Lift one knee while the other foot slides back along the floor, then switch and do the other side. Our video does exactly that, so you don't have to learn it.

Will I look like Drake?
No. You stay you: your own face, hair, facial hair and glasses from your photo, in a plain grey hoodie, black joggers and white trainers, or your own clothes from the photo. It's a generic hotel corridor, not the 2020 music video.
Can I do it with a friend?
Yes. Pick You and a friend and add one photo of each of you. You slide side by side in matching outfits, in sync, and end in the same pose, like the twin versions from 2020.
Can my dog or cat do the Toosie Slide?
Yes. Pick Your dog or cat and add a photo with its face and body in view. Your pet comes back as itself, the whole animal, up on its hind legs doing the knee lifts and back-slides. Pets vary more from run to run than people, so check the free preview first.
How much does it cost?
The preview still is free. The 10-second video is 100 credits ($6.99), vertical 9:16.
Does it come with the song?
No. The video is silent: add the Toosie Slide sound in TikTok, Instagram or whichever app you post to, so it lands in the trend's feed.
Is the Toosie Slide a Fortnite emote?
Yes, according to MakeViral's page on the trend (read 24 Oct 2026), which is why 'toosie slide fortnite' is a common search. Our video is the real-life dance with your face, not the game's emote.
